because through it I got to read this super amazing book in which I took
a few lessons from to help in the future
About the book:-The book around the world in 80 days is a
thrilling adventure novel that sets around the 19th century it
was published serially in 1872 in Le Temps and in the book form
in 1873 the story by Jules Verne revolves around Phlieas Fogg
who wagers a significant sum that he can navigate around the
world in just 80 days accompanied by his faithful.
Jules was a French novelist; poet and playwright famous for his
voyages Extra ordinaries Jules Verne had an impact on the
world that went beyond literary as his books inspired millions.

Theme:- The story shows the perseverance , strength,


adaptability and courage of Phileas Fogg to challenge himself to
travel the world in 80 days which at that time was not easy it
just goes to show me that You have to adapt to certain
situation have perseverance and strength and have the courage
to go against peoples limited expectations of you through which
u can see personal growth and the motivating concept nothing
is impossible just challenging.

Book Summery
There was a wealthy man in London by the name of Phileas Fogg now
one of Mr. fogs biggest achievements is that he is part of the Reform
club in which most of the esteemed and highly achieving individuals in
London attend although Mr. Fogg was a wealthy member of the Reform
club he was not famous among most of them.
Mr. Fogg had lots of bright ideas and innovations that he thought would
lead people to a more modernized society but while being unpopular
and disliked by people he knew his plans wouldn’t come to anything.
Then someone from the club pointed out that there was a route that
made travelling around the world in 80 days possible everybody in the
club thought that was a foolish idea and where laughing about it except
for Mr. Fogg but everyone in the club thought that Mr. Fogg was going
mad for believing in such a ridiculous idea but that didn’t stop Mr. Fogg
he makes a bold wager with his fellow members that he can travel the
world in 80 days and he bets 20,000 euros on it the people even
decided that he would be president of the Reform club if he was to
achieve this journey.

Undiscouraged Mr. Fogg sets of in his ambitious journey, accompanied


by his newly hired French valet named Passepartout they board a series
of train and ships following Mr. Fogs plan .At some point they reached
France in which at the time the region had gone through many changes
and was highly unstable and unsafe and they do in fact encounter
trouble they runned into a protesting mob an Mr. Fogg tried to speak to
them in French but said the wrong thing and the crowd began chasing
them through the streets of Paris until they spot an air balloon they
quickly got on and set off to their next destination

The duo finally managed to land the balloon in Italy under difficult
circumstances because of a certain complication although the landing
was not pretty all Mr.Fogg saw is that he had made it to his destination
but a detective by the name of Fix was trailing them mistaking them for
bank robbers but they couldn’t just stop and get questioned because
they didn’t know how long it might take they kept on avoiding the
detective and kept on their journey and win the wager
Their journey soon takes them to the Suez Canal, Egypt by a ship called
the Mongolian steamer in which detective Fix was still on their trail.
Passepartout was the one to get their passport visaed to prove they
have travelled to every country in the world.

The duo where off to their next point have now reached India and Mr.
Fogg was becoming more and more assured of this trip because
currently he has calculated to finish the task two days early but what
other complications might they encounter? Next up they were set to
take a train to Allahabad (a city in India) but the last stop to the train
was not Allahabad so they had to find a new route to the city Mr. Fogg
was unshaken as he had to more extra days that they have saved so
they went to Yazdan a man with a unique understanding of animals to
escort them on their journey on an elephant named Kioni to Allahabad
accompanied by a man name sir Francis who joined them on their way
to Allahabad. On their way to Allahabad they encounter a women who
seemed to be in trouble as she looked to be taken away against her will
Mr. Fogg decided he was going to rescue the women despite their
urgency and they due manage to find a way to rescue her with them on
a train to Calcutta .

When they reached Hong Kong they found a train that would Hong
Kong as they reached Hong Kong it was time for them to part ways with
Aouda but I she reached Hong Kong she could see that there was
nothing waiting for her there and decided to hed to Europe with Mr.
Fogg as he was beginning to develop feelings for her. Passepartout as
usually went to get the passports published but he never came to the
docks to which they were meant to set sail to japan Mr. Fogg couldn’t
afford to waste any time so he quickly set sail to Japan confident that
passepartout would meet him there . Passerpartout ran into detective
Fix and was set to encounter a delay but despite the odds he was able
to meet Mr. Fogg in Japan

Then the three where off to san Francisco in which on their journey
there was an attempt to poisen Mr. Fogg but Mr. fogg resisted the urge
to eat the pie and tossed it aside but Passepartout some ,how took a
bite and was now delusional but they resourcefully got over that
obstacle as well and continued their journey.

As he reached Liverpool Fogg realizes he was going to complete the


wager in perfect time unless there weren’t any further complications
but he managed to get arrested by Detective Fix and he was began to
accept that he was about to lose half his wealth and dwell as he looked
at the time go back on his the watch the detective then realizes Fogg
was innocent and that he made a big mistake and fogg still had a few
hours to get to the reform club on time as passapartout watching was
not up to date Internationally and they do manage to get to London
with only such little time left and he is met with surprise and admiration
as he reached the club from the members after all he did travel the
world in 80 days

In the end Phileas Fogg became president of the Reform club and wins
his wager and realizes his feeling for Aouda.
