Around the World in 80 Days Jules Verne

Chapter 1
Mr. Fogg was an interesting man who lived in England.

Chapter 2

Mr. Fogg was in a special club. The club made a bet which was that Mr. Fogg must go around the world in 80 days.

Chapter 3

To win the bet, Mr. Fogg had to be back on December 21st.

Chapter 4

Mr. Fogg got a train. The first stop was Paris.

Chapter 5

From Paris, Mr. Fogg went to Suez. He got on a boat to go to Bombay but a detective from England followed him (Fix).

Chapter 6
While Mr. Fogg was on the boat, he made a plan about his trip.

Chapter 7

Mr. Fogg saw the Red Sea on his way to Bombay.

Chapter 8

Soon he saw the Indian Ocean and reached Bombay and India.

Chapter 9

In India, Mr. Fogg got a train. The next stop was Calcutta.

Chapter 10

Soon, the ground was so rough and the train couldn't continue. Mr. Fogg rode a guided elephant across the jungle and he slept in the jungle, and he saw panthers and monkeys.

Chapter 11

Mr. Fogg finally reached Calcutta. The next destination was Hong Kong in China so Mr. Fogg took a ship.

Chapter 12

While Mr. Fogg was on the ship to Hong Kong, he saw many interesting things. But Fix was still following Mr. Fogg.

Chapter 13

On the way to Hong Kong, Mr. Fogg stoped at a city called Singapore. The weather was very bad and he had to change his ship.

Chapter 14

Soon Mr. Fogg gets to Hong Kong. He thought that it's an interesting place. They missed their next boat and they had to find another one.

Chapter 15

The next destination was Shanghai, Japan. There was a terrible storm. Several people on the boat got seasick.

Chapter 16

Soon, Mr. Fogg arrived in Shanghai, Japan. While he was there he ate Japanese food and tried to wear some Japanese clothes.

Chapter 17

The next part of the journey was travel through Japan and get a ship to San Francisco in the United States.

Chapter 18

It took 11 days to reach San Francisco. Mr. Fogg was on time to make it back in 80 days. He got a train to New York City. (It's on the other side of America).

Chapter 19

The detective followed Mr. Fogg to America. (He followed Mr. Fogg on the train across the country). Mr. Fogg sees mountains, prairies, rivers, lakes and some buffalos.

Chapter 20

In America, he stoped in Utah. They also stoped in Nebraska and Illinois. The last stop in America was New York. He was worried because his ship left without him in New York.

Chapter 21

In New York, Mr. Fogg missed the boat to Liverpool, England. He made a deal and got a boat to Bordeaux.

Chapter 22

Mr. Fogg took the ship and he drove to Liverpool. When they arrived to Liverpool they only had six hours to get to their final stop.

Chapter 23

When they arrive in Liverpool, the detective arrests Mr. Fogg for no reason! Then, all their hope to win the bet is lost.

Chapter 24

Finally, the detective let Mr. Fogg go. Everyone gathered at Mr. Foggs special club. They wanted to see if he will make it in time.

Chapter 25

Mr. Fogg walked to the reform club because he thought that he had lost. Once he arrives, a crowd was there. He forgot about the difference in time zones! (LOL)

Chapter 26

Mr. Fogg won his challenge! He won much money but the most important thing that he gained was knowledge, a nice experience and he met new friends around the world! these were the greatest prizes of all!
