1. I write on behalf of the Academic Board of the Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated
Development Studies to offer you admission to pursue a 4-Year Regular Full time BACHELOR OF
EDUCATION IN HISTORY WITH POLITICAL SCIENCE.

2. Your permanent University Identification Number (UIN) is UG0841723. You are required to quote this number,
in addition to your full name, in any official communication with the University.

3. Your admission is for the 2023/2024 Academic Year only. You forfeit it if you fail to enroll this academic year.

4. Your admission is on the basis of the results/certificates you presented. These credentials will be verified later,
and you will be withdrawn and possibly prosecuted if they are found to be fake.

5. The University has limited accommodation on campus which is offered on first come first serve basis with
priority for the first year students. Please, you may consult the Dean of Students’ Office for accommodation
on Campus.

6. The University does not give direct financial assistance to students. However, students may visit the Students
Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) office to access a loan.

7. You will be required to pay provisional fee of GHC 2,276.95 for the 2023/2024 Academic Year, which is
subject to review. The provisional fee consists of:
• Academic Facility User Fee (AFUF) and Other Charges- 1,888.95
• SRC Dues- GHC 88.00
• Professional Training Levy (PTL)- GHC 300.00

8. The payment should be made at any network branch of Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG), ADB, Stanbic
Bank, Fidelity Bank or GCB Bank if you accept the offer of admission. Please, inform the Teller you are
using TRANSFLOW to pay SDD-UBIDS fees. Students who will make payment at GCB Bank should use EAGLE
pay. Your University Identification number should be quoted on the pay-in-slip.

9. The total fee excludes dues you may be required to pay by your Faculty/ Departments or Association.

10. Full payment of the fees must be received on or before Friday, January 5, 2024 for your admission to

 remain valid.

11. Please, note that, fees paid are neither refundable nor transferable.

12. You are to register at the School of Education and Life-Long Learning (SoELL) - UBIDS during the re-opening of
the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

13. A medical examination will be done on you to determine your fitness for the programme when you report.

14. Please, note that, no change of name will be accepted during/after your study in this University

15. All fresh students will be matriculated soon after the University re-opens. You should take note of the
matriculation date. You should note carefully that your admission will be withdrawn if you fail to take part in
the matriculation. No excuse will be accepted if any student fails to comply with this advice/directive.

16. The University ‘s reopening date for the 2023/2024 Academic Year is Friday, January 5, 2024. You are
advised to report on the re-opening date for registration at your Faculty.
