Lion:

Tigris. The tiger word is discovered from the Latin word Tigris. It is the national animal of India.
They are carnivorous animals.

Dog:
Dogs are domestic animals. It is a descendant of a wolf. They are classified in animalia kingdom.
They are mammals. In the present world, around 450 breeds of dogs have been discovered till now.
They are known for running. They have a strong sense of smell as well. Dogs can live approximately
up to 13 years. They are known as the best friends of human beings. The scientific name of the dog
is Canis Lupus Familiaris.

Cat:
Cat is a domestic animal and comes under the carnivorous species of mammal. Domestic cats are
useful for human beings for their ability to kill rodents. Around 60 breeds of cat have been
discovered till now. It’s scientific name is Felis catus. They have a flexible body with sharp teeth,
claws. It has an amazing sense of smell and night vision.

Horse:
The horse is a hoofed mammal with one toed. They come under the Equidae family. Their scientific
name is Equus Ferris caballus. They have an amazing running power that helps them to escape
from their predators. Their life span is between 25-30 years of age. They are usually categorized in
three different categories- hot bloods, cold bloods, ponies. They provide milk, meat, hide, hair,
bone, etc to human beings.

Snake:
Snake is a limbless reptile that comes under the carnivorous species. Till now, there are
approximately 3900 species of snakes. They are found generally on every continent except
Antarctica. There are venomous as well as non-venomous snakes. Their scientific name is Serpents.
They are somewhat similar to lizards.

Giraffe
Giraffes are tall animals belonging to Africa. Their scientific name is Giraffa. It is 4.3-5.7 m tall. It’s
skin color is generally gray or tan. It has a long tail. It has two gaits used for walking and galloping.
It has an elongated neck that measures up to 7.9 ft in length.

Camel:
Camels are useful animals for human beings as they are being used to transport materials and
people in the desert region. A camel can live upto 40-50 years of age. They have humps in their
body that can store fat. They also provide milk which is known to be the healthiest milk in the
world. There are two types of camel- dromedary, and bacteria.

Cow:
Cow is a domestic animal. It’s scientific name is Bos Taurus. They are useful for animals as they
provide milk, meat, etc. They are ruminants as they can digest difficult plants containing chlorophyll.
They are good swimmers and they don’t sleep much. They are social animals.

Deer:
Deer is a hoofed ruminant mammal. They are found in forests. They have long powerful legs, tails,
and long ears. They are amazing jumpers and swimmers. In them, male deer have antlers. They
generally have 32 teeth. They eat grass, shrubs, etc. They consist of a strong sense of smell and
hearing power. They have eyes on the side of the head. They communicate in special ways.
