    The case was rejected by Competent Authority (Archaeological Survey of India) vide letter
    dated 30.07.2019 (copy enclosed), as the proposed alignment was passing through the
    prohibited area of centrally protected monuments. Accordingly, alternate alignment passing
    through Chhattarpur area was considered and approved on 26.09.2019.
    These facts have already been conveyed to Sh. Vivek Joshi and representatives from
    Mehrauli.
