Summary

Izuku wanted a quirk, and so he got one. But that was a really strange quirk, a really magic

Izuku and his mother were walking home after a day of school. Another kid had manifested a
quirk in his class, a girl with the power to make anything soft with her touch. The most part
of the kids in the class already got their quirk, Izuku still was just the quirkless boy with
green hair and freckles, who didn’t even had manifested any kind of power. He was tired to
trying blowing fire and make things come to him with his mind. ‘’Is everything alright,
Izuku?’’ Inko asked, making him come back to reality ‘’Hm? I’m okay mom, don’t worry’’

‘’Mom, do you think my quirk will appear soon? It’s taking so long’’ He asked to the older
Midoriya after the dinner ‘’Oh, sweetie be patient. I’m sure it will appear sooner or later it
just take time’’ She smiled ‘’Okay…’’ After he went to bed, Inko give a goodnight kiss in her
son’s forehead and left the room ’’Goodnight sweetie’’

‘’Goodnight mom’’ when she left, he did something that most of the dreamy kids do when
they really want something, look out the window and pray for the first shooting star he saw
‘’Please, I beg you… I wish to have a quirk, a really magic one’’ and suddenly fatigue started
to weigh on his shoulders.

Izuku open his eyes in the next morning and got up, starting to do what he does always when
wakes up: trying to manifest his quirk. Blowing and expecting a flame comes out. Nothing.
Trying to bring his schoolbag with his mind. Nothing. ‘’Sigh… well, maybe not today’’

‘’Izuku! Did you awake up!? Come eat your breakfast!’’.

After a shower, he looked at the mirror to see any possible changes. He was as always, green
hair, emerald eyes, freckles, pointy ears… pointy ears? ‘’MOM! Come here, quick!’’

When Inko arrived in the bathroom, Izuku was almost hugging the mirror ‘’Mom! Mom! It
happened! Finally!’’

‘’Hey calm down sweetie, what happened?’’ Then she noticed his ears

‘’My quirk! It finally showed up! My ears are pointy now, like the guy with a bow from that
movie!’’

‘’That’s great, Izuku! Guess we have to see a doctor so we can know what exactly it does’’
The freckled boy started to ran around the house waving his arms. His desired quirk appeared
‘’Hahaha! I want to show everyone! Kacchan will be like ‘’Wow Izuku, you look so cool
now!’’ and then…
His body started to glow a green light ‘’I-Izuku?! Are you okay?’’ But all she saw when the
light was gone was a little green-haired monkey with a confused look. It was a transformation
quirk? But why a monkey? ‘’Izuku? I-Is that you?’’ the monkey looked at her and then at
himself, making a loud cry and being covered by light again. From the light, a scared Izuku
came out. ‘’Did you see that, m-mom?’’

‘’Y-yes, Izuku it was your quirk? You can turn into a Monkey?’’ his fear disappeared
instantly

‘’That’s so cool! Can I turn into a lion? Or an eagle? Maybe a rabbit?’’ Izuku once more was
shaking his arms, trying to turn into another animal

‘’Now Izuku, you can play with your quirk later. For now, let’s go to a doctor and examine
you’’

Two days later Izuku still didn’t know how to use his quirk appropriately. He didn’t even
know how to active it. According to the exam, Izuku not only could turn into a monkey but
also might have other abilities that they couldn’t identify. During that time Inko heard him
shout ‘’Transform!’’ and ‘’Quirk activate!’’ every five minutes, but nothing happened.

Monday has come. Izuku still didn’t know how to use his quirk appropriately. He didn’t even
know how to active it. Apparently Izuku not only could turn into a monkey but also might
have other abilities that they couldn’t identify. During that time Inko heard him shout
‘’Transform!’’ and ‘’Quirk activate!’’ every five minutes, but nothing happened.

‘’Bye, mom!’’

‘’Take care, Izuku!’’

Izuku waved while his mom walked away. Now that he got a quirk no one will never call him
Deku and tease with him anymore, he was like the other kids. He could be a hero! Just Izuku
from now on! No more Deku!

‘’Hey, Izuku! What’s with those ears? Did your quirk appeared?’’ a girl said and that question
catch everyone’s attention, including Katsuki ‘’What? Deku developed his quirk?’’

Uh oh. ‘’Y-yes Kacchan’’ a crowd of kids formed around the boy.

‘’What it does?’’

‘’It is strong?’’ '’When it showed up?’’ ‘’SHUT UP!’’ Katsuki called out with an explosion,
what made everyone shout in a jump. ‘’So Deku, what it does?’’ Izuku started to tremble
‘’W-w-well I can t-turn into an animal’’ ‘’What animal? Show it to me’’ What would he do?
He didn’t even know how to active it! ‘’M-maybe next time, Kacchan’’ he started to walk to
get out of there but Katsuki grabbed his arm and put him back where he was ‘’Show me
 Deku, or your quirk It’s just these weird ears? Haha! Not quirkless but still useless’’ he
laughed, followed by the other kids

He waved his arms in panic ‘’N-no! No! I s-swear! I’m not u-useless! I’m n-‘’ And his body
gleamed green,
making everyone cover their eyes. There was, the monkey again with a tearful face while the
kids just stared. Kacchan stifled a laugh ‘’This is ridic-‘’

‘’HE’S ADORABLE!’’

All the girls in the class ran to Izuku, pushing Katsuki away ‘’His fur is green look at that!’’

‘’He’s so fluffy!’’

‘’That’s so cool, Izuku!’’

‘’Let me hug him!’’

‘’Do you want to come to my home and play?’’

What was happening? They think it was cool? And they wanted to hug him? And play with
him? The poor boy was so confused but at the same time so happy. He has a quirk and he
could become a hero… wait, how did he do that again?

‘’Okay, done!’’ Izuku said putting the last poster on the wall, a poster of his favorite hero:
Mirko. Many other posters adorned his room. On his door was Ryukyu, above his bed the
four faces of the Wild Wild Pussycats, he even got a Midnight poster despites his mother’s
protests.

It’s been two years since his quirk appeared and his control over it just got better, he even
was able to turn into another animal: a horned bat. Picking up his Mirko’s action figure and
his blue hoodie with a crescent moon, he went to the park.

‘’Bye mom!’’ Izuku called out

‘’Take care and don’t be late for dinner!’’ Inko pocked her head out of the kitchen but the boy
already has gone.

When Izuku finally arrived at the park, he hears a voice calling him ‘’Heeeeey Izuku! I’m
here!’’ Looking around he sees a girl with pink skin, horns and black eyes with yellow iris
waving from a tree.

‘’H-hi Ashido!’’ He went to her meet when he got down of the tree. Her name was Mina
Ashido, Izuku met her on the first time he turned into a bat about six months ago, the girl got
scared and threw a rock on Izuku thinking he was a vampire. After solving the
misunderstanding, they became friends.

‘’I told you to call me Mina. Did you bring your figure?’’

‘’Sorry Ash- I mean Mina. Yes, It’s right here!’’ He showed her his plastic mini Mirko.

‘’Mirko again? Man, you wake up and go to sleep thinking about her, don’t you?’’

‘’I-its not like that, hehe.’’ He smiled embarrassed.

‘’Well, then let’s go! Today you’re gonna be the hero and I’m the villain!
Hahahahahahahahaha!’’ she laughed trying to sound terrifying ‘’You will never catch me
alive, hero! I’m the most terrible villain in the world and you can't stop me!’’ She started to
run.

‘’That’s what you think, villain! I am the great Mirko and I’ll make you pay! Luna Ring!!’’
He put on his hood, making the rabbit ears evident and started chasing the girl.

‘’Hey Katsuki, isn’t that Izuku?’’ Katsuki and his friends were walking close to the park and
conveniently they find their favorite target of intimidation.

‘’Yeah, it is’’

‘’He’s playing with that girl again, who the hell she is after all?’’

Meanwhile the two kids continued their chase without realizing that Katsuki had arrived.
‘’Come on, Izuku! Are you even trying to catch me?’’ she laughed at him.

‘’Mina! Look out!’’ The warning came out too late. Mina bumped into the blonde boy and
they both fall to the ground. Izuku knew what could happen, if Mina and Kacchan start an
discuss, someone would be hurt. ‘’A-are you okay, Mina?’’ She got up wiping the dirt from
her clothes.

‘’I’m fine, it was nothing’’ She smiled

‘’G-good! I think we’ve got enough p-playing today, how about we g-go to my home and-‘’

‘’WAIT!’’ Katsuki called out, approaching the girl with an angry look ‘’Who the fuck you
think you are, racoon eyes!? Do you want to fight?!’’ Oh no.

‘’What?! It was an accident, you idiot! And who you think YOU are to call me that?!’’ She
puffed up her chest. Izuku tried to stop her but the bomb had already exploded

‘’P-please stop it, it was just an a-accident! You don’t need to fi-‘’ His words were
interrupted when Katsuki pushed him to the ground, taking his Mirko action figure and
blowing it up.

‘’Don’t interfere, Deku!!’’

It was Mina’s turn to attack Katsuki. She slapped the blond boy in the face. ‘’Just what do
you think you’re doing!?’’ That was all Katsuki needed to explode, literally. He blew an
explosion on Mina’s face, it was weak, but made Mina hide her face with her hands and start
do cry.
Izuku ran to help the girl

‘’Are you okay, M-Mina?! Let me see your face!’’ When she took her hands off her face, he
saw that it had a superficial burn and her eyes where closed and watery. Katsuki and his
friends laughed

‘’Iz-Izuku, help me! My… m-my eyes are hurting a lot!’’ She buried her face in Izuku’s
shoulder. Seeing his friend crying and begging for help, it just couldn't be ignored, he had to
do something

‘’K-Kacchan, a-apologize to her!!’’ He called out.

‘’Haha! Or what, Deku?!’’

 Izuku stepped forward and raised his fists ‘’O-o-or I’m g-gonna make you!!’’ Katsuki
laughed out loud.

‘’As a useless monkey? Or as a fucking horned bat? Oh, what's with those clothes? Trying to
be like a female hero, Deku!? Don’t tell me you’re a fag!’’

Those words broke the poor boy’s heart. For a moment, he was ashamed to want to be like
Mirko. Ashamed even to like her. Not he hadn’t those thoughts before, that was the main
reason why he didn’t want no one, even Mina, to come into his room. He felt tears falling
from his eyes.

‘’I’m… I’m not that! I’m n-not! I’m a man and I’ll s-show you that!’’ The green light of his
transformation glowed bright. Katsuki disdained, whatever it was, it would end the same
way: Izuku defeated on the ground. When the light faded, Izuku was in a new form. That
form wasn’t just a total transformation on a specific animal, it was almost a hybrid between
human and spider. His skin was light green, now he had six big spider legs, hands replaced by
claws, pointed teeth and menacing look. Not to mention that his hair was smooth and reached
his shoulders. He approached Katsuki, that for the first time showed concern.

‘’Apologize, Kacchan!’’

Fear. A thing that Katsuki never expected to feel. Especially when it comes from the boy he
called useless his whole short life. But here he is, paralyzed and sweating unable to do
anything.

‘’Apologize, Kacchan!’’

Why he’s not responding? Is just the same Deku that he used to intimidate, right? Even in
that form is still Deku and as the name says, he is useless and can’t fight why is he looking so
menacing?

‘’Pff! Fine, I’m sorry racoon eyes! Now let’s go, we’re just wasting time’’ He didn’t care
about what was that feeling and just left.

Izuku didn’t move for a few seconds, processing what just happened. ‘’Izuku? Are you still
there?’’ That bring him back to reality. Mina, rubbing her eyes walked up to him. ‘’ He’s
gone? You really made him apologize to me? That’s… GREAT!’’ She called out giving him a
big hug.

‘’W-what? Y-you are not injured at all?’’

‘’Of course not, i was just trying to make you face that little shit and you actually did it! Look
at your new form, is so cool!’’ She grabbed his hands ‘’Let’s see what you can do!’’

‘’O-okay, but’’ He noticed the remains of his action figure burned on the ground. ‘’Sigh…
guess there’s no way to fix it.’’ Mina put her hand on his shoulder, trying to comfort her
friend.

‘’Don’t be sad Izuku, you know what you just did? You made him be afraid of you’’

She was right, for the first time in many years Katsuki didn’t fight back and just accepted
what Izuku demanded. But he was afraid of him? Izuku made Katsuki feel fear?

‘’A-are you sure?’’

‘’Of course! I saw it on his eyes, he wasn’t even saying anything. And you still got the bunny
ears, didn’t you?’’ She put his hood back on his head ‘’Just like Mirko, well… almost like
her’’

He blushed. Being compared to his favorite hero was really great.

‘’Now let’s see what you can do in this new form, see if you can climb the tree without your
hands’’

Katsuki never bothered him again.

‘’A pajama party?’’ Izuku and Mina were walking back home after school. Izuku’s 8th
anniversary was coming and Mina decided to make a slumber party to celebrate it.

‘’Yeah, a pajama party. I thought it may be fun, consider it a gift. What do you think?’’

‘’I don’t know Mina, you don’t need to do that for me can’t you give me another gift?’’

She puts her arm behind his neck and whispers ‘’Like what? Do you prefer a kiss?’’ Their
friendship lasted for years and as much as he was used to that kind of thing coming from
Mina, he couldn’t help feeling embarrassed and blush.

‘’N-n-no, i’m just... fine let’s do a pajama party’’

‘’Ha! Too easy. I’ll invite a friend that I met these days, i’m sure you will like her’’

‘’What? A g-girl?’’

‘’Come on Izuku, it’s not a big deal sleeping in the same room with two beautiful girls. It’ll
be next Saturday on my home, be sure to come and bring a pajama and a pillow. Bye, Zuku!’’
They took different paths.

‘’B-bye, Mina…’’ Izuku made his way home thinking about all the things that could go
wrong ‘’I only have that Mirko pajama and it has bunny ears, what if she thinks I’m still a
little kid or maybe a… no, anything but that. I’ll be the only boy in a bedroom with two girls
all night! it’ll be so weird! I know her mother don’t care this much about it but still.’’

‘’I’m home!’’ He called out.

‘’Welcome home, how was the school?’’ Inko was on the kitchen as always.

‘’Mom… uh… can I have another pajamas?‘’ He asked to her. Inko looked at him with a
confused look. He loves that pajama with rabbit ears and a yellow crescent moon, what could
make him not want it anymore?

‘’Why? What’s wrong with your Mirko pajamas?’’

‘’Well, Mina invited me to a pajama party next Saturday and she said she will bring a
friend…’’ He looked down and scratched his nape. ‘’I don’t want her to think that I like a
female hero or something, you know what I mean?’’
Inko understood very well what her son was saying, she really didn’t want anyone to think
anything about him, kids can be so cruel.

‘’Okay sweetie, I understand’’ She kissed his forehead and smiled with love ‘’I’ll find
something until then’’

‘’Thanks mom, I love you’’ He retired to his bedroom.

The first thing he saw when he arrived was a big poster of the Rabbit Hero, the same he put
on the wall two years ago. There she was, staring at him with her menacing smile and
pointing at him like she’s saying ‘’I’m going to beat the shit out of you!’’ He laughed with
the thought. He wanted to be like her so much, confident, strong, spend greatness only with
his presence like all the dreams he had, fighting by her side.

He looked at the other wall and saw the Dragon Hero: Ryukyu, the second place on his Top
10 favorite heroes. Her quirk was very similar to his that’s why he became so much fan of
her. Every time he saw her smiling at him on the wall, he felt great comfort. It looked like she
was saying ‘’It’s going to be okay, you can do it’’ She was really a great hero, and so
beautiful.

So much posters of female heroes, so much figures and many other things of the same heroes,
what would anyone think if they saw Izuku’s room?

‘’I need to rest’’

Saturday has come, the pajama party night. Inko bought a pajama that she considers good
enough, a pajama of the number one hero All Might. It was a copy of All Might’s hero outfit,
yellow and blue with red details and a hood that tried to imitate his hair. Izuku didn’t like it.

He was putting his tuff in the backpack. ‘’Toothbrush, extra clothes, cookies, candy and…
pajama’’

‘’Are you ready, Izuku?’’ His mother decided to take him to Mina’s house, it was not fat but
since it was night, she thought it safer to take him.

‘’Yeah, let’s go’’

Inko knocked on the door and a woman with horns and pink hair, who appeared to be the
same age as she opened the door.

‘’Inko!’’

‘’Micha!’’ They shared a warm hug.

‘’Mina, Izuku is here!’’ He heard hurried footsteps coming and Mina appeared in a unicorn
pajama.

‘’Hi, Mrs Midoriya’’

‘’Hello, Mina. Well, I have to go now, take good care of him okay? Goodnight, Izuku’’ She
left and the three entered the house.

‘’Tsuyu will be here soon!’’ Mina said grabbing his hand and taking him to her room ‘’I’ll
take some snacks!’’

‘’O-okay’’ He looked at the pajamas on his backpack and gives it a look of contempt. After
putting it on, he heard someone knocking on the door and voices talking. When Mina came
back, she was accompanied by a girl with a long green hair and big eyes. She was really cute.

‘’Tsuyu, this is Izuku Midoriya. Izuku this is Tsuyu Asui’’

‘’Nice to meet you, Midoriya. Kero’’ As always, he got nervous

‘’It’s n-n-nice to m-meet you, A-a-asui’’ He said in a shaky voice.

‘’He really looks like a scared kitten, like you said’’ She pressed her finger to her chin.

‘’W-what?’’ He blushed.

‘’Hey, what’s with that pajamas? I thought you’d use the Mirko one.’’

‘’Y-yes but I decided to use this one, I like it most’’ Mina was surprised to hear that, but did
not question.

‘’Riiiight… I’ll take the snacks, enjoy the time together!’’ She once more left the room,
leaving Izuku and Tsuyu alone.

‘’S-so, Asui-‘’

‘’Call me Tsuyu. Kero’’ She interrupted the boy.

‘’Oh, o-okay sorry’’

‘’You don’t like this thing, do you?’’ Tsuyu obviously referred to Izuku’s pajamas. She
opened her backpack and took out her own. It was totally green with two frog eyes on the
hood.

‘’N-no, I’m just wearing it because…’’

‘’Because you don’t want anyone to see you in Mirko’s?’’ She said taking out the blue
pajamas with a crescent moon from Izuku’s backpack, when did he put it there? ‘’It really is
cute. Kero’’
 ‘’H-hey, what are you doing?’’

‘’I don’t understand why. If you really like it, why don’t you just use it? I’m sure you look
cute on these. Kero’’

Those word were simple but powerful. Someone was saying that he should wear something
from a female hero, and more, was saying that he would look cute on it. He looked at the girl,
her big green eyes met his.

‘’So, you’ll put it on?’’

Maybe she’s right, maybe he can do anything he want to, maybe he can let anyone see his
room without feel shame, maybe he can use his Mirko clothes and be proud of it, maybe he
can use his pajamas.

‘’Yes’’

‘’Great, now get out of here, I’m going to change. Kero’’

‘’You really don’t like it? It’s just like All Might’s suit, even the hair is identical’’ Mina
asked. It was late at night and after a tiring pillow fight Izuku, Mina and Tsuyu were talking.

‘’Well, looking it now it’s kind of cool I think I just didn’t like it because I really wanted to
use Mirko’s and all. But you can really keep it, I know you like him more than I do’’

‘’Oh, your birthday is coming and I’m the one to receive a gift? I really know how to choose
my friends’’ She smiled.

‘’Midoriya, you said you want to go to UA too? Kero’’

‘’Y-yes, Tsuyu actually I even have designed my hero costume, here have a look’’ Izuku took
a notebook out of his backpack and started flipping through. Tsuyu saw many drawings of
heroes and notes of them, Eraserhead, Endeavor, Mandalay, Edgeshot, Hawks, Midnight and
Present Mic.

‘’Ah! Here it is!’’ Izuku shows the sketch of his costume plan, it was a jumpsuit with elbow
pads, knee pads, gloves, a mask with long ears and a crescent moon on the chest.

‘’So obvious’’ Mina stated.

‘’You really think is that obvious? What about your hero costumes? Do you have any plans
for how it is going to be?’’ Tsuyu put her finger on her chin with that question.

‘’Actually I didn’t. What about you, Mina? Kero’’

‘’Of course i… didn’t, but I know it’ll be pink’’

‘’So obvious’’ Both Izuku and Tsuyu stated.

‘’Ha ha, very funny. Hey show her your quirk, Zuku’’ Mina poked Izuku’s arm, joking.

‘’Yes, please you already saw what my quirk does and mumbled about it, let me see your
quirk. Kero’’

‘’W-what? Um… I can turn into some things’’

‘’Show me’’ She got closer to him.

He stared at her for a moment before activating his quirk and illuminating the room. What
should he turn into to impress her? Girls always think the monkey is cute, yes that’s a good
one. He closed his eyes and waited for the ‘’aaaawww’’ that Mina always does. But nothing
happened.

‘’Whaaaaat?’’ That’s what he heard. The reason was clear when he opened his eyes and saw a
confused Mina and a smiling Tsuyu. He looked at himself and he was green, but not the
monkey’s fur, the frog skin was green.

‘’Kero. That’s really cool, Midoriya’’

He tried to speak but all that came out was ‘’K-kero!’’ Tsuyu laughed and picked him up.

‘’What’s that? Since when you can turn into a frog?’’ Mina asked.

‘’I think he’s cute’’ That made Izuku blush.

‘’Maybe someone’s presence helped, huh?’’ Mina took the frog from Tsuyu’s hands brought
him to her face.

‘’We need you to get back to normal’’ She turned her gaze to Tsuyu ‘’Tsu, you’re a lover of
literature, right? You know what we have to do now?’’ Izuku made a confused ‘’Kero?’’

‘’You mean…’’ The green haired girl blushed and pointed to her own mouth.

‘’That’s right! I’ll kiss him!’’ The frog in the girl’s hands turned a bright red color and
jumped into escape, starting a chase in the room.

‘’Get back here, Zuku! It’s just a kiss! We’re going to do it when we get married anyway!’’

Now he was preparing for the most important moment of his life, in a year he will face the
U.A test. He has been training a lot with his friends, more with Tsuyu than Mina due to her
dance lessons and laziness.

Over time he acquired more forms to transform and one of those new forms is the reason he
and the frog girl are early in the morning of a Saturday in Dagobah Municipal Beach Park.
The place was full of trash but it was a good place to train since no one was going there and
the water was still clean.

‘’So, when this one appeared?’’ Tsuyu asked.

‘’Two days ago, I was trying to turn into the crab’’

‘’Show me. Kero’’

He walked to the sea and when the characteristic light was gone, he immediately fell. Now he
had fins, gills, green scales, a fish tail replacing his legs and a new hairstyle. Why does his
hairstyle changes with the transformation?
‘’A mermaid? You have a flying and an aquatic one now? Such a versatility’’

‘’Yes, but I don’t know how to swim very well with this’’ He wagged his tail.

‘’So that’s why you wanted to train here, don’t worry I’ll help you learn to swim. Luckily, I
came with my swimsuit in case there was something like that. Turn around please’’

‘’Y-yes!’’

‘’Let’s start with a race’’

‘’You’re doing very well, let’s take a break’’ Tsuyu said after winning for the tenth time.

‘’Thank you, my tail is starting to hurt!’’ Sitting on the sand, they started watching the sea.
That beach was really beautiful, but the piles of junk ended up taking away much of its
beauty. The sun had already come out completely, even though the sky was not yet entirely
blue.

‘’Beautiful isn’t it, Midoriya?’’ He looked at his friend and nodded. ‘’It would be better if it
was cloudy’’

‘’Heheh, I think so’’

‘’Kero. Now how much transformations you have? Frog, crab, newt, harpy, bat…’’ She
started counting on her fingers.

‘’Spider, monkey, elephant, mouse and the mermaid’’

‘’You’ll be a great hero with all that versatility’’

‘’T-thank you, Tsu I’m sure you will be as well that’s why we’re training our quirks’’

The memories of their training crossed the girl’s mind. The attempts to increase her jump
trying to reach the harpy in the air and the races with the monkey through the forest trees.
Midoriya can do so many different things, he’s really a lucky guy.

‘’Yes, in a year we’ll do the test for U.A’’

‘’That’s right, we’re going to be heroes! Imagine us on tv! Froppy, Alien Queen and…’’
Midoriya stopped. He didn’t think about a hero name. ‘’And… Uhm’’

‘’Kero? What name suits with your quirk?’’

‘’I don’t know, it is a mutation type but not in a specific thing like Ryukyu so…’’
‘’You know what that remembers me? Genies from fables that I read when I was little’’ The
boy raised an eyebrow.

‘’Genies? Those who grant wishes and live on magic lamps?’’

‘’Not all of them, I remember that I read a story about a genie girl who could do magics,
including turn into many things and help people for all the desert with that. And she had
pointy ears too. Kero’’

‘’Hey, that actually sounds like me!’’

‘’I know’’

‘’So you think I will be like a genie hero?’’ He smiled.

‘’Maybe. About names, what about something like Mirko?’’

‘’Izurko?’’

‘’That’s terrible, Midoriya’’

They forgot that it was just a break from training and kept talking, enjoying each other’s
presence.

‘’You know, Midoriya sometimes I get jealous of you. Kero’’

‘’Jealous? Why?’’

‘’You have an extremely good quirk and can do a lot of things with it. The only side effect of
you quirk is the pointed ears and they’re kind of cute, I have disproportionate hands and eyes
that look like they’re always wide open, not to mention that ability to store things in my
stomach and regurgitate them, it’s disgusting’’

As she spoke her voice took on a sad tone and she tried to hide her hands. That was a side she
rarely showed, her insecurity. Always saying what she thought and being indifferent most of
the time, few people would think she had any insecurity.

‘’Tsu, I don’t think you’re weird or disgusting, actually i… I think you are really c-c-cute’’
He blushed and tried to hide his face with his arms.

‘’Y-your quirk is really cool, you can climb on walls with your bare hands, you have a super
long tongue, fast swimming and more! With all that you can be one of the best heroes!
Remember that after all, Mirko’s quirk is just being a rabbit and yet she’s on the top ten!’’

Tsuyu just stared at him while he said all that, unable to say anything.

‘’Your hands are not weird and your eyes are beautiful, they look like emeralds and I like it
when you do that kero thing it’s just so cute! Also i-‘’ He realized what he was saying and
 turned red as a tomato.

‘’S-s-sorry, Tsu I did not mean! W-wait, I do! B-but…’’

‘’It’s okay’’ She smiled.

‘’B-but’’

‘’It’s okay, thank you for telling me all that. Kero’’

‘’R-really?’’

‘’Yes, but now I want you to do something for me’’

‘’Something? What?’’

Her smile got bigger.

‘’Do the kero thing’’

‘’W-w-what?’’

‘’You heard me’’ She said bluntly

He didn’t respond for a while and looked at the sand.

‘’K-Kero! Kero!’’

‘’Good. I’ll go home now I’m getting hungry’’

‘’Ah! That’s right, I’ll do that too haha’’

‘’See you later… Izuku’’ She got up and before leaving, she gave the boy a light kiss on the
cheek.

He was very much looking forward to their next training.

Izuku and his pink friend walked away of her house while the girl’s mother waved at them.

‘’Good luck, Izuku! Don’t do anything dumb, Mina!’’

‘’Mom!’’

‘’Thank you, Mrs. Ashido!’’

UA, the best school of pro heroes in Japan and the school that Izuku’s favorite heroine
Miruko, studied. Today it’s the day he can make the test and, with luck, be accepted into this
school and become a pro hero. Today is the most important day in his life.

Arriving at the placed they stopped at the entrance and looked at each other.

‘’Are you nervous, Zuku?’’ Mina asked.

‘’Y-yes, we’ve been waiting for this day for so long and it finally came, it’s strange’’

‘’Let’s do our best. Together, right?’’

He nodded.

‘’Get out of the way, Deku’’

A blond boy with red eyes and a frown was walking up to them. The relationship between
Izuku and Katsuki has not changed too much since they were children, they did not consider
friends with each other but the bullying ceased. It was quite friendly and peacefully.

‘’Oh! Hi Kacchan, good luck to us right?’’

‘’Get the fuck out of the way or i’m going to kill both of you’’

Well, maybe not friendly. He passed by them without saying anything else.

‘’What a scumbag. Come, this is not the time to care about him, this is our first step to
become heroes!’’ Mina moved foward and when Izuku tried to follow her, he tripped over his
own feet and went straight to the ground ‘’Shiiiii-’’ Suddenly, he stopped in the middle of the
fall.

‘’That was close, are you okay?’’ The person who did that was right next to him, a girl with
brown hair and a round face smiling ‘’It’s my quirk, sorry to use it without asking but if you
fall it would be very unlucky!’’ She laughed.
‘’T-thank you, you saved me’’

‘’It’s okay, i better get going. Good luck!’’ She got away.

‘’Good luck’’

When he reached Mina, she wasted no time in questioning him.

‘’Who was that girl?’’

‘’What? She prevented me from falling, i don’t know her name’’

‘’Hehe getting a girlfriend early at morning?

‘’Stop it!’’

‘’I’ll tell Tsu, i’m sure she’s somewhere around here’’

For some reason Mina’s joke sounded emotionless, it didn’t look like she did it for fun.

‘’Get moving! There is no countdowns in real battles! Run, run, run! You’re wasting time
here!’’ The voice of Present Mic was heard by everyone at the entrance to the exam. The
rules were simple, they had to use their quirks to defeat robots worth points and avoid the
zero pointer all that within 10 minutes.

‘Okay, now or never’ Izuku thought before running after the mob of students. All he heard
for a while was the noise of metal crushing and explosions. He saw the same girl from before
sorrounded by a bunch of floating robots when suddenly they fall.

‘’Fifteen points!’’

Only after two minutes he finally found a two pointer around the corner and driving fast
towards Izuku. The boy took the most useful transformation in a situation on he have to be
strong, the elephant form, he stomped the robot and easily destroyed it, looking around and
seeing the guy with glasses who scolded him for mumbling kicking a robot.

‘’Thirty four points!’’

‘I’m really behind, i have to get points and fast!’

The harpy form flight through the skies looking for any robots that were in his field of vision.

‘’Heeeeeeeelp!!’’ Someone called out. Izuku, when followed the scream, spotted a robot and
presumed that it was smashing the person bellow it or something, shooting a feather volley
that destroyed the three pointer.

‘’Thank you, i was stuck!’’ Midoriya didn’t saw anyone, only gym clothes on the ground.

‘’Where are you?’’

‘’Right here, bird brain!’’ The clothes got up ‘’The name is Tooru Hagakure! My quirk is
invisibility, nice to meet you’’ That explain a lot of things.

‘’Oh! N-nice to meet you, i’m Izuku M-Midoriya’’ He didn’t know if he was looking in her
eyes or even on her face.

‘’Five minutes left!’’ They heard Present Mic.

‘’Oops! No time to waste, bye bye!’’ The floating clothes get away.

‘Oh no, only five minutes left and i only got five points!‘

Two robots appeared behind him and tried to attack, what he dodged thanks to the harpy
agility. Izuku turned into the spider form and with it’s strong claws and legs, destroyed one of
them but the other one was destroyed by some kind of vine that almost hit him too.

‘’I’m sorry, green haired friend! Are you okay? It was not my intention to do anything that
could hurt you’’ A girl with vine hair and a serene face approached him. For some reason she
was wearing a long skirt that covered her legs.

‘’I’m okay, you didn’t hurt me’’

‘’That’s a relief, it’s already bad enough have to destroy this things but if i hurt someone...
oh! I don’t like to even think about it!’’

‘’H-hey, it’s okay you didn’t hurt me i'm fine!’’

When Izuku was about to say bye and left the place, a sound of metal ringing echoed
followed by the sound of crushing concrete and a tremor.

‘’What in the name of Jesus’’ They turned around and all the students were running away
from the gigantic zero pointer revealing itself. ‘’L-l-let’s get out of here!’’ She said
running after the mob. The boy collapsed on the floor, looking at the robot. But one thing
catch his attention, a voice.

‘’H-help... help me!’’ The same girl with brown hair was stuck in a pile of rubble and
couldn’t move. Izuku knew he had to do something, but what is he going to do? The elephant
form isn’t big enough to stop that thing.

His legs ignored that fact and in half a second later he was running to the zero pointer, he
didn’t know what to do and was just acting by pure instinct.

‘I need to help her! No matter how! This is what heroes does! No matter how, i have to save
that girl!!’

His hair went up in flames as he ran and so flame wings appeared on his back. The ground
started do shake what made some people who watched the scene lose balance. A war hammer
appeared out of nowhere in Izuku’s hand. He flew to the robot’s face and brandished the
hammer with a impressive mastery, It looked like he was planning to do that all the time.
 ‘’LUNA FAAAAAAAAALL!’’

As the noise of metal being crushed ringing through the area, a vibration wave was formed
with the impact. All the students in the place had their jaw dropped at that view, the colossal
robot exploding and falling down as if it was nothing. It was scary and amazing at the same
time.

‘’T-times up!’’ Present Mic shouted.

Izuku started to fall.

It was a disaster

It’s been several days since the test and according to Izuku’s count he got seven points, a
mediocre score since he has such a versatile quirk and had so many chances to gain points.

‘’Izuku’’

Sure, he destroyed the zero pointer but as the name says it worths nothing. And how he
destroyed it is what frustrates him the most, if he had that form sooner he for sure would be
one of the ones who got more points.

‘’Izuku?’’

Months of training and preparing wasted. Mina, Tsuyu and Kacchan got a good score, for
sure they have already received their results and at any moment his phone would ring and it
would be one of the girls happily saying they were accepted.

‘’Izuku? W-why are you staring at your dinner like that?’’

‘’Huh?’’

Izuku glanced up to see his mother with a worried face. Since she was called to pick him up
after the test because he passed out, she has been worrying a lot more.

‘’Are you okay, sweetie?’’ She asked.

‘’It’s nothing mom, i’m just thinking’’

‘’It’s about the test? The results will be here soon, right?’’

Izuku sighed.

‘’Oh don’t worry dear, i’m sure you did a great job’’ Inko said attracting the car keys with her
quirk and leaving ‘’I’m pround of you’’

‘’Thanks, mom’’ Yes, that helps.

Well, the only thing he can do now is learn about his new form that don’t have a name since
it doesn’t look like an animal or mythical creature, maybe he should start giving it a name.
He was on the way to his room when Inko slammed the door holding a envelope.

‘’I-Izuku! The results!’’

Oh great.

The boy take it without a word and walked to his room closing the door behind him. He put
the envelope on table and stared it for a moment until finally tore open it, a small object was
inside, he clicked it.

‘’I AM HERE!’’ A hologram of All Might showed up.

‘’All Might?’’

‘’Greetings, young Midoriya! Before announcing your results, i’d like to congratulate you,
It’s been a long time since a student took down the zero pointer! Now to your results, you
passed the written exam with a significantly high grade and on the physical, you destroyed
enough robots to get seven points!’’

‘As i thought, shameful’

‘’Of course, that’s not enough to pass the physical’’

Izuku looked down sadly, he knew that he failed but still, is painful.

‘’But that is not all we were looking for! Being good at destroying is the only thing you need
to be a hero? Of course not! The most important thing in becoming a hero is being willing to
give your all to help those who need! And you, my boy, did it for instinct!’’

Midoriya turned his attention back to the hologram that now shows a video of him destroying
the colossal robot.

‘’Although others think that you planned this, i saw it in your eyes. Your legs moved on their
own didn’t they? You didn’t know what to do or how to help young Uraraka but you still ran
to the zero pointer because you felt you had to!’’

Another video started, but this time the video showed the girl Uraraka asking, almost
begging, to some of her points be given to Izuku and ended with Present Mic telling her to
not worry. All Might clenched his fist and looked at him with a look of severity and
determination mixed that almost looked like Miruko’s smile.

‘’You, among many others were the only one that risk yourself without thinking to help
young Uraraka when she was unable to move! That is the spirit of a true hero! We all were
watching you and we all agreed this actions deserves... Sixty rescue points!’’

Izuku had to hold on the chair to keep from falling.

‘’Sixty points!?’’ He gasped ‘’This means i’m with sixty seven points!’’

‘’This means you have been accepted to UA! I’m looking foward to be your teacher and see
what you have to show us this year! Until then, PLUS ULTRA!’’
The hologram turned off. Izuku took a few time processing all those things.

He took his phone.

‘’I have to tell Mina’’

‘’Do you have your pencil case?’’ Inko asked.

‘’Yes, mom’’

‘’Your handkerchief?’’

‘’Yes, mom’’

‘’Your glasses?

‘’I don’t wear glasses!’’

‘’Oh, right. Izuku’’

‘’What is it?’’

‘’You really are amazing, i’m so proud of you’’ She smiled at her son with love and comfort.

‘’T-thank you. Bye, love you!’’

‘’Class 1-A... this door is huge’’ Midoriya looked up ‘’Okay, it’s going to be great’’

The first view he had of his new class was at least weird. The guy with glasses from the exam
was scolding Kacchan while he just grin at him with his feet on the desk, a blonde girl with
horns and big blue eyes watched them as if trying to understand what they were saying.

The glasses-wearing guy moved his eyes to Izuku and walked to him ‘’It’s you!’’

‘’Zuku!’’ Other two familiar faces showed up, Mina brought him to a surprise hug and Tsuyu
approached them.

‘’Hi girls, s-so we’re in the same class?’’

‘’Yes, pretty convenient isn’t it? Kero’’ Tsuyu joked.

‘She look cute in that uniform’ He thought.

Both were moved aside by Iida, who introduced himself.

‘’Good morning, my name is Tenya Iida, you and i have met before’’ His serious expressions
make him a little scary.
‘’N-nice to meet you, i’m Izuku Midoriya’’ He said.

‘’Midoriya, You realised there was something on the test that i didn’t, you surely are a more
impressive student than i am and obviously you are superior to me, i apologize for my
behavior’’ He said gesticulating.

‘’Actually, i didn’t re-’’

‘’Hey! The pointed ears boy!’’ A voice called behind him. It was none other than the girl he
saved on the exam ‘’I didn’t thank you for saving me before, thanks! You were amazing, i
mean, you came running and then a war hammer appeared and you like BAAAM!!’’ She said
imitating the moves he have done.

‘’If you are here only to make friends and chat, leave now, this is a hero course.’’ They turned
around and there was a big thing similar to a caterpillar on the floor.

‘’W-w-w-what is that thing!?’’ Mina asked disturbed, holding Izuku’s arm. It standed up and
turned to them, revealing a face, what made everyone shout with the shock.

The man unzip what now it’s clearly a sleeping bag and revealed himself, a man in black
clothes, a kind of weird scarf and a long black hair covering part of his face. It looked like he
hadn’t slept in weeks.

‘’My name is Shota Aizawa, i’m your teacher’’ He said with a tired voice, not only those
who was with Midoriya looked at him with confusion, but the whole class.

‘’I know it sounds sudden, but put these on and get outside’’ He says, revealing a selection of
gym suits.

‘’Quirk analysis?’’ Almost all the students asked at the same time.

‘’But what about the Orientation?’’ Uraraka said.

‘’We don’t have time to such a pointless thing, this is how i run this class’’ Aizawa answered
harshly ‘’Bakugou you had the high score in the entrance exam, what was your best softball
pitch score during the middle school?''

‘’Sixty seven meters, sir’’ Katsuki said.

‘’Try again with your quirk’’

Katsuki grinned, walking into the circle, he took the ball and throw it hard. When the ball
was about to leave his hand, BOOM!

‘’DIE!’’

An explosion familiar to Izuku made the ball disappear in the sky, they only could identify
it’s trajectory thanks of a smoke trail. Although he had been victim of those explosions, it
was nice to see Kacchan in action.

Aizawa showed a tracker with the number 705.2.

‘’Wow, that’s sounds so fun!’’ Mina said.

‘’Seven hundred meters? That’s crazy!’’

The students began to talk about how fun this could be.

‘’It sounds fun you say?’’ Aizawa smiled, the most sarcastic smile that his tired face allowed
‘’Very well, you will be going through eight test and the student with the lowest score will be
judged as unable to meet our expectations and shall be expelled’’

A massive fear hitted the entire class as they murmured and looked around, as if trying to
confirm that they were hear that right.

‘’Now, let’s get started?’’

The tests went by quickly, Izuku got good scores in tests like races and almost won the
climbing test against Tsuyu but the monkey wasn’t fast enough. Tests with physical strenght
also were not a problem to him, spiders can lift 170x their own weight. It was a good
opportunity to see more quirks and learn about his classroom mates, the girl with vine hair
from the exam ended up on his class and showed herself a great athlete.

He saw a lot of cool quirks. A boy with a strong ice quirk, a girl who could launch her horns
that quickly became friends with Mina, not to mention a guy with a hardening quirk who
seemed like a friendly version of Kacchan.

Of course there was strange quirks too, he was particularly curious about a green haired girl
who took her head off to scare the students.

All that was left was the softball throw, the most impressive result was Uraraka’s, who
literally sent the ball to the infinity.

‘There is no way i can do better than this’ Izuku thought

‘’Midoriya, you are up next, hurry up and finish this’‘

He walked to the circle and started to think which form would be the best one for that
situation.

‘I can’t use the elephant form because it’s too big and i have to be in the circle, i think the
best option is the-’ Then something ocurred to him, that form he assumed in the exam, he
already tried to transform before but was unsuccessful. Maybe just one more try.

‘’Do it quick, we’re wasting time!’’ Aizawa rushed him.

‘’Sorry, sensei’’
He looked at the ball and closed his eyes, trying to transform into the unnamed form. And he
fall. He tried to stand up but he couldn’t, not with his tail replacing his legs.

‘Seriously? The only useless one on land? Oh whatever, i still can do something’

He threw the ball up and using his tail as a whip, he hit it away. Aizawa’s tracker bipped,
104.1 meters.

‘’This concludes the tests’’ Aizawa says.

Izuku walked back to the class, some of them began to compliment him.

‘’Bro, how many transformations you have? Your quirk seems so cool’’ The confident guy
with bright red hair asked.

‘’Yeah, can you turn into a dragon like Ryukyu?’’

‘’Haha no, sorry’’

Aizawa walked over to the scoreboard ‘’Here’s the final scores, i’ll just show them once, so
pay attention’’

Some people turned to a girl with a blank expression, she just looked ath the scoreboard and
didn’t express frustration or any other emotion. Izuku saw her tests and it was like she slept
standing up during them.

‘’By the way, i lied’’ Aizawa said, smiling deviously ‘’It was a logical deception to make you
all do your best. We’re done now, go back to the classroom, the other teachers will be there
eventually’’ And he began to leave.

‘’He said that so seriously, i really thought it was for real’’ Iida said

‘’Come on, obviously it was a lie’’ A girl replied.

‘’...And he used to sleep with a Miruko plush’’ Mina laughed.

‘’It’s been a long time i don’t!’’

Mina certainly has a big facility in making friends, and if she make friends, Izuku will too.
They had free time before classes ended and Mina insisted that Izuku befriend at least five
people before going home.

‘’Hahahaha! You’re like, obsessed with her’’ Setsuna joked.

‘’I’m not!’’

‘’Who’s this?’’ She said taking a keychain with a chibi Miruko attached to Izuku’s backpack.

‘’It’s her...’’ He sighed in defeat.

‘’Case closed’’

Kirishima put his hand on Izuku’s shoulder ‘’Hey don’t be ashamed of that, bro, i also have
someone who inspires me’’ He shows the same type of keychain but with a chibi Crimson
Riot.

‘’I think it’s cute!’’ Uraraka stated.

‘’Heh thanks, guys’’

 Izuku couldn’t be sad under any situation now, he’s on UA, his dream since he was a child is
becoming real.

He will be a hero

Afternoon of the second day on UA. The students of class 1-A were waiting for their first
heroic class.

‘’Who you think is gonna be the teacher?’’ Kaminari asked to Komori.

‘’I dunno’’ She hummed, admiring a red mushroom, not interested in the conversation.

Midoriya was a little fidgety, he still remember of his almost failure on the entrace exam and
now it’s his chance to show everyone what he can do.

‘’I AM’’ Everyone looked at the door when a familiar figure showed up ‘’COMING
THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!’’

‘’Holy crap! it’s All Might!’’ Awase shout out.

After a introduction, All Might annouced that their first heroic class would be nothing less
than a battle training, which made some students celebrate with excitement and others like
Kodai and Shiozaki sigh. The first thing they should do was get their costumes and head to
the training ground beta.

Looking at his costume, Izuku smiled.

‘’This is fine’’

‘’You’re looking cool!’’ All Might said looking over the students walking out of the entrance
tunnel.

Izuku’s costume was simple, it was more aesthetic than to aid him in action since he would
be transformated most of the time. A forest green hoodie with bunny-like ears decorated with
purple details, red belt, white gloves with purple stripes, knee pads, black pants, and of
course, his red boots.

‘’Listen! Now i’ll explain the exercise. You will be divided randomly into pairs, and-’’

‘’How are we going to divide the teams?’’ Yaoyorozu interrupted him.

‘’A-ah, yes... You will draw lots. One team will be the villains the other will be the heroes’

‘’What’s the scenario?’’ Awase asked.

‘’How are we going to decide who’s the villains and who’s the heroes?’’ Iida added.
‘’C-calm down!’’ All Might coughed ‘’There is a nuclear weapon inside the building, the
hero team’s duty is find and capture either the weapon or the villains. If the limited amount of
time runs out or the heroes are captured, the villain team will win. The teams will be decided
via lottery... Yes, i think this is right’’ He mumbled the last part reading an index card.

Without a doubt, the students drew lots. Izuku looked at his paper with the letter D.

‘’What you got?’’ Mina appeared next to him and compared their papers ‘’Aw i got B’’

He sighed ‘’Pity’’

‘’Hey, Raccoon eyes!’’ A familiar voice called behind them.

They turned around to see the bomb boy ‘’Uh? What do you want, Katsuki?’’

Then Mina saw his paper with the same letter as her.

‘’What? You are my partner?’’

‘’Yeah, something wrong with that!? I’m the one who should be saying that!’’

‘’Don’t be so smug!’’

‘’Shut up!’’

‘’Stupid!’’

‘’Horned bitch!’’

‘’Trash!’’

Izuku left as they kept cursing each other ‘I just hope one of them don’t end up dead’ The
boy looked around and saw the same girl who almost ‘got expeled’ on Aizawa’s tests,
looking at him.

‘’Hello, can i help you?’’

She just stared him for a moment and showed her paper with the letter D.

‘’Oh, so we’re partners. Uhm, what’s your name?’’

‘’NOW, EVERYONE!’’ All Might interrupted Midoriya ‘’The first round will be... Hero
Team E vs Villain Team D!’’

Todoroki and Rin looked over Midoriya and Kodai.

Izuku and his partner walked towards the building when the number one hero approached
them.

‘’Remember, think like villains and don’t be afraid to fight. But don’t go too far! If you do,
i’ll stop the exercise and both of you will be punished. You have ten minutes to hide the
weapon and get prepared. Good luck!’’

‘’Yes sir!’’

‘’Mm’’

‘’So you can change the size of objects?’’ Midoriya asked the girl when she touched the
bomb and made it shrink to the size of a ring.

‘’Mm’’

‘’Woah, it’s the perfect quirk for an exercise like this, really cool!’’

‘’Mmm...’’ She looked away to hide the aparent blush.

‘She looks shy’ He smiled at the though ‘’I have a plan, i know Todoroki and Rin are very
powerfull so we must stay on the defensive’’

‘’Mm’’ Kodai gesticulate for him to continue.

‘’Alright kids, begin!’’ All Might’s voice ordered.

Outside the building, Rin began to walk when Todoroki stopped him.

‘’What’s the matter?’’

‘’Please, stay here, it will be dangerous’’ The cold air took over the place when the boy
touched the wall with his lef hand and the entire thing was covered in ice. Rin trembled at the
chill.

‘‘D-d-damn!’’

Todoroki advanced through the corridors calmly and slowly, smiling at the thought that they
oponents are now imobilized and unable to fight. What a easy win.

Arriving at the right room on the 6th floor, the bomb wasn’t there, the only person on the
room was Kodai, although her feets were frozen her face was serene and unexpressive.

‘’So, Midoriya managed to scape from my ice?’’ He walked toward the girl and tied the
capture tape around her arm ‘’Are you going to tell me where he and the weapon are?’’

‘’...’’

‘’Very well’’

‘T-Todoroki is stronger than i thought! I hope Kodai is alright’ The boy with freckles wiped
off the last ice shards from his hair ‘My original plan was go to the roof and wait until the
time runs out, but Todoroki caught me on my bat form and i had no choice but hide on this
room. I still can follow the plan but i don’t know where is Rin’

‘’K-K-Kodai was caught!’’ All Might shouted in his ear, shivering because of the cold.

‘Damn it!’

‘’J-just five minutes left!’’

‘Okay, i still have a chance’ A horned bat leaves the room and starts to fly around, holding a
small weapon on his mouth ‘If i find a window, i can go to the roof’

‘’Hey hey hey’’ Less than a seconde after he hears the voice, his wings were once again
frozen solid and he fell, making a loud squeak and droping the bomb.

‘’I’m impressed, you made me lost more time than i thought i would’’ Todoroki said. But
Izuku wouldn’t give up just yet. Returning to normal, he picked the fake bomb up and ran
away from there, being stopped by the ice paralyzing his legs

‘’Give up already, you can’t run away’’

Turning to face the ice boy coming to him, he was about to accept the defeat.

‘’Now give me...’’

Izuku felt his stomach drop, suddenly it looked like the time got slower, Todoroki stopped in
the middle of a step.

‘’W-what’s happening?’’

His vision darkened and behind Todoroki, a white figure appeared. Izuku felt a shiver down
his spine, the figure turned to him and he could feel it’s bright eyes penetrating his soul.

It moved its hand in rhythmic movements, and then pointed at Izuku. He felt a warm touch in
his hands, and that touch got warmer and warmer.

Then the figure disappeared in a white mist. The flow of time began to move once again.

‘’...the weapon’’

Izuku didn’t know what happened, didn’t know who or what was that thing, the only thing he
knew is that he had a match to win.

Concentrating the warm in one single point within his two hands, a red spiral of energy
slowly took shape, becoming a fire sphere.

‘’Hm?’’ Todoroki tilted his head slightly.

 The sphere move from its own and began to surround Izuku like he had a orbite and the red
ball was a little planet. The heat was enough to liquefy the ice on his legs.

He ran off, leaving a confused Todoroki behind.

‘’What?’’

(At the viewing room)

‘’Okay, what else this guy can do?’’ Kaminari asked, all the class and even All Might turned
to Mina.

‘’Don’t look at me, i’ve been asking myself the same thing for ten years’’ She said.

(Back to the building)
-----

’I j-just... fire... my hands’ Izuku thought, trying to walk on the frozen roof.

‘’Three minutes left!’’

‘Maybe i finally manifestated my father’s quirk. But that doesn’t explain that vision, a ghost
or something like that? A projection that the universe sent to show me what i could do?
Something my own mind create to told me that i am able to do that? A STAND?‘

This time he felt all around him warm, the ice covering the floor was quickly melted and the
water started to evaporate.

‘It was me?’

‘’Hey’’

‘’Eeck!’’

Izuku turned around, standing there was Todoroki, just staring him.

‘’I just wanna you to know that this is nothing personal’’ He said, his breath was visible.

Before Izuku had any chance to react, a huge trail of ice came right to him, covering his body
with ice. In just a few moments, Izuku’s body was completely numb.

‘I c-can’t move...’

‘’The hero team wins!’’

The cloudy weather sends winds strong enough to take an umbrella from somebody’s hands.
Izuku went out from the comic store, happily holding the newest Miruko comic he waited so
long to finally be out. He rubbs his hands to make them a little warm.

His pointy ears twitches. This is the perfect situation to catch a hot chocolate and stay all day
in the bed, hiden under a comfy and warm blanket.

As Izuku walks forward, fewer people were seen passing by. He gingerly rip off the thin
plastic coating from the comic book, eager to read. The smell of the paper pages invades his
nose, replacing the smell of rain and salty air.

It’s dangerous to read a comic when the clouds are ready to send a heavy rain any time, but
he was willing to take the risk.

Immersed in the words and illustrations, he turns a corner, bumping into a girl.

‘’I’m s-sorry!’’ He tries to apologize ‘’It’s my fault, i w-wasn’t looking where i was going
and-’’

‘’It’s alright, don’t worry about that~’’The girl interrupts him, tapping cheek his and smiling
with sharp teeths, leaving with a giggle.

Izuku watched her walk away, confused.

Snapping off those thoughts, he continues his path.

After a short time walking, the boy realized that his footsteps were irregular, it looked like
there was more steps than should have. He stops and looks around, seeing the empty street
before him. A shiver runs through his spine when a thunder burst in the sky.

Izuku swiftly walks forward, desperated to get out of that place. That was a mix of fear and
determination he only has playing while playing horror games.

His eyes couldn’t focus in a single point, every little thing on the street caughts his attention.
The feeling of fear that someone would appear and the wish of not being alone in that desert
place was making him breath heavily.

Corner after corner, Izuku’s anxiety grows.

The sound of his steps were duplicated again, but this time he kept walking and pretended he
wasn’t listening. Izuku and his chaser spent a moment just walking, both knowing that they
are aware of each other’s presence.
His mind was working at full speed in attempt to make a plan to get out of that situation.
Using his quirk is not an option, students can’t fight with quirks out of school, run neither, the
chaser may be with a gun.

When Izuku finally gathered courage enough to turn around, a hand grabbed his neck and
dragged the boy to a nearby alley. His back bumped against a wall of bricks.

Her bright crimson eyes were almost completely hidden by her long dark hair, but they still
were visible.

‘’Sh..t-top...’’ He stutters.

The girl giggles, the same voice as before‘’Stop struggling, i’m starving! I just need some
bloood~!’’ She says, picking up a knife and putting it against Izuku’s right cheek.

Izuku grabbed her arm with his hands, the strenght of the two making them tremble.

‘’There is no use in resist, darling, just let it flow... Ah!’’ She realized what Izuku was
planning a second before it happen.

She yelled as the skin of her arm burned and the muscles twitched in agony.

The girl tries to put her arm away from Izuku, but his grip is firm. She finds herself forced to
drop the knife when the smell of burnt flesh couldn’t be ignored.

Finally free of his assaulter, Izuku ran away.

‘’You fucking brat! I was only going to drink your blood, but now i’ll kill ya!’’

‘’Yui, Are you really going out in such a cloudy day?’’ Her mother asks, receiving a ‘Hmm’
from the girl.

The day is beautiful, how can’t they see that?

‘’What if you get caught by rain?’’

The girl just shows a red umbrella, starting to rummaging through the kitchen drawers.

Yui is not a person who likes to go out and walk in the city, but today the sky is completely
hidden by a infinity of clouds that makes it looks like the twilight is coming to connect day
and night, even if it’s only eleven AM. And that made her... how they call it? Excited?

A thunder is heard, followed by a voice screaming.

‘’Mommy!!’’

Her mother sighed and went out, bumping into a little pigtailed girl wearing a pink dress with
a white flower, who hugged her firmly ‘’Calm down, Tsubaki, it’s just a thunder it can’t hurt
you’’

‘’But Yui told me that’s the sound monsters do when they find us!’’

‘’Yui!’’

Yui don’t answer, leaving the house.

She don’t know why, but seeing the street so empty and the weather in a way most of people
would describe as sad, an omen of bad things to happen, makes her heart warmth.

The only sound she could hear for minutes was the wind making her skirt swang and rustle as
she walk.

‘’Ah!’’

Yui stops with the sudden scream. She only could freeze and look around, trying to find who
shouted. Another cry was heared, this time continuous and visceral.

She turned around and was surprised by someone.

His freckled face was in total fright and his green hair swayed in the wind.

‘’K-Kodai!’’ The boy puffed.

‘’Hmm?’’

‘’What are you doing here?’’

Yui almost raised eyebrows in surprise. He is Izuku Midoriya, her classmate who ended up as
her partner in the first combat exercise. That one who said her quirk is cool.

‘’Hmm... oh!’’

The boy suddenly grabs her hand and start to run leading her to a nearby alley, where both
hid.

Midoriya checked the road.

‘’W-we have to be careful, she can be anywhere’’

‘’Uhm?’’

He turned to Yui, even with the empty expression, he could tell that she was confused.

‘’Sorry about all that so s-suddenly Kodai, mind you...’’

After a short explaination, Yui was totally aware of his current situation.

‘’I didn’t mean to involve you in this, once i caugh her attention, you can got away and be
safe okay?’’
Yui stared him for a moment. And nodded with a sound of denial. She don’t know why, but
she don’t want to run. She wants to stay and help him.

‘’W-what!? You want to stay?’’

‘’Hmmm’’

‘’But it’s dangerous!’’

‘’Mmhmm!’’ She stomps the ground, pouting.

Her classmate sighed.

‘’Okay, but please take care i don’t want you to get hurt’’

‘’Hmm...’’

The sound of steps quickly getting closer echoes behind them.

‘’I found ya!’’

Before Yui has time to turn around, Midoriya pulls her closer to him.

The boy tries to grab her, but his hands pass through the girl as if she was made of a sort of
thick red liquid. She tries to stab him with a knife, but Yui pushes him away from the girl.

‘’Another kid?’’ She yelled, going after Yui ‘’Get out of my way, you little whore!’’

The alley is temporarily iluminated in green, making both of them close their eyes.

A sound of slam followed by a scream is the next thing Yui hears, finally openning her eyes
to find the girl trapped in the wall by a huge figure with six strong legs.

The pressure applied to keep her immoble was so big that the wall got small cracks.

‘’F-fuck...’’

‘’Quickly, Kodai! We can still- uh?’’

The girl’s body slowly turned red and started to melt, falling on the ground as a huge blood
pool, that took shape right after.

She was clearly tired after that, breathing hard, and her confidence growing thin.

‘’Need... to... eat...’’ She panted.

Yui looks around and find a can of tea on the ground, hastily picking it up and throwing at the
girl, who held out her hand to grab it, vainly.

Presing her fingers together, Yui whispers ‘’Grow’’

The little can with great speed assumes the size of a trash can, crashing into the girl and
making her pass out.

Midoriya, already in his normal form, approaches her.

‘’A-are you okay, Kodai?

Yui nods.

‘’Thank God’’ He sighs, looking at the bloody-girl ‘’Let’s call the police’’

Returning home with a classmate after beating up a criminal. This is certanly an awkward
situation.

‘’S-sorry for getting you in trouble’’ Midoriya breaks the sillence.

‘’Hmm’’

‘’And t-thanks for helping me. I wouldn’t have made it without you’’

‘’Hmm...’’

She may not show, but Yui is as nervous as him, maybe more.

‘’Well, after this i guess you want to be really away from me don’t you?’’ He laughs.

How could he say that? He somehow thinks it was his fault or something? He’s a nice boy,
who would want to stay away from him?

Yui turns to him and frown.

‘’N-no?’’

She nods.

‘’Great! Friends, then, Kodai?’’

Friends... yes, she can be friends with him.

‘’Yui’’ Her calm voice reach his ears.

‘’W-what?’’

‘’Call me Yui’’

Midoriya smiled.
 ‘’Okay’’

My goal with this chapter was building up Izuku and Kodai friendship, getting her into
the ''Zukusquad'' i really hope you like it, because i had fun writing it.

From this point forward, the chapters will have a sort of ''episodic plot'', where i'll try to
build up our boy's relationships and powers in each one.

And since it'll be episodic, you can share your ideas of plots with which character you
want, and i'll do my best to make it a good reading!
