Vision of the University : A premier, multidisciplinary-technological university

Mission of the : The University shall primarily provide advanced professional and technical instruction for special purposes, advanced studies
University in industrial trade, agriculture, fishery, forestry, aeronautics and land-based programs, arts and sciences, health sciences,
information technology and other relevant fields of study. It shall also undertake research and extension services, and
provide progressive leadership in its areas of specialization (Section 2 of R.A. 9744).

Goal of the University : The University shall produce scientifically and technologically oriented human capital equipped with appropriate knowledge,
skills and attitudes. It shall likewise pursue relevant research strengthen linkages with the industry , community and other
institutions and maintain sustainable technology for the prevention of the environment.

Program Goals : The BTLED program aims to develop highly competent and motivated teachers in Technology and Livelihood Education for
Grades 4-8.

Program Outcomes : The minimum standards for the BTLED program are expressed in the following minimum set of learning outcomes:
C. Specific to a sub-discipline and a major (Technology and Livelihood Education)
1. Demonstrate the competencies required of the Philippine TVET Trainers-Assessors Qualification Framework (PTTQF);
2. Demonstrate broad and coherent, meaningful knowledge and skills in technology and livelihood education;
3. Apply with minimal supervision specialized knowledge and skills in technology and livelihood education;
4. Demonstrate higher level literacy, communication, numeracy, critical thinking, learning skills needed for higher learning;
5. Manifest a deep principled understanding of the learning processes and the role of the teacher in facilitating these processes
in their students;
6. Show a deep and principled understanding of how educational processes relate to larger historical, social, cultural, and
political processes;
7. Apply a wide range of teaching process skills (including curriculum development, lesson planning, materials development,
educational assessment, and teaching approaches) ;and
8. Reflect on the relationship among the teaching process skills, the learning processing in the students, the nature of the
content/subject matter, and other factors affecting educational processes in order to constantly improve their teaching
knowledge, skills and practices.

Course Description : This Course is an application of art principles and design to family and individual needs.

Course Learning : At the end of the course, the students can:
