Program Outcomes The minimum standards for the BSGD program are expressed in the following set of learning outcomes:
A. Common to all programs in all types of schools
PO1 Articulate and discuss the latest developments in the specific field of practice.
PO2 Communicate effectively through oral and in written forms using both English and Filipino
PO3 Work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams;
PO4 Act in recognition of professional, social, and ethical responsibilities; and
PO5 Preserve and promote “Filipino Historical and Cultural Heritage” (based on RA 7722)

B. Common to all programs in all types of schools


PO6 Produce technological research toward innovation and advancement;
PO7 Engage in technology-based community extension programs and activities

C. Specific to Bachelor of Science in Graphics and Design (BSGD)


PO8 Ability to solve mathematical problems required of the mechatronics trade and apply science in design and conduct
experiments, analyze and interpret data and advance proposal of recommendations to solve problems met.

PO9 Ability to perform metrology and benchwork, machining, electrical & electronics, hydraulics, Programmable Logic Controller
motor controllers, microcontrollers, instrumentation, robotics & software programming, and other related operations and
practices.

PO10 Understanding of mechatronics technology solution to the problems encountered in the industry and capacity to utilize acquired
techniques, knowledge, Attitude, skills, habits, and competencies as tools for the operations and practices, acquiring mastery
of mechatronics management concepts and skills and its application to industrial movement and dynamism; and

PO11 Prudence in the observance of safety and health practices in the delivery of technology products and services.

Course of Description The course focuses on the study of the principles and theories of Psychology as applied to business and industry. Topics pertinent to Industrial
Psychology will be covered including human resource selection, employee testing, job analysis, performance appraisals, leadership,
employee motivation, and job satisfaction. It will also provide students with opportunities to conduct field studies and application projects in
specialized areas of Consumer Psychology and Engineering Psychology.

Course Learning Outcomes


1. Relate the course to the mission and vision of the College of Technology;
2. Explain and evaluate the theories, research, and practices within the field of Industrial psychology.
3. Express how the theories and research in Industrial Psychology can be applied to help solve work-related problems.
4. Discuss the complex issues facing Industrial Psychology today and how these issues affect workers, organizations, and society.
5. Demonstrate new understanding and tools in Industrial Psychology through fieldwork and projects in specialized areas.
6. Recognize the importance and contributions of empirical evidence in the development of current understanding of Industrial Psychology.
7. Demonstrate critical analysis and reflection by challenging current theories and concepts in the study of workers and their interactions with
industry and business.
8. Exhibit professional and ethical behavior in the design and presentation of projects in specialized areas.
