For the Discharge Plan, we have the following:


- First is medication, Instruct the patient to take the prescribed medications with
appropriate timing and dosage. Inform the patient to not miss any medications. As you
have said before ma’am, we should finish the entire antibiotic regimen in order to fully
resolve the infection.
 Cephalexin (Cephalosporin antibiotics) - works by killing bacteria or preventing their
growth.
 Mefenamic Acid - nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat mild to
moderate pain.
 Malunggay Capsule (Moringa) - reduce swelling, as an antioxidant, to prevent
spasms, increases sex drive (as an aphrodisiac), prevent pregnancy, boost the immune
system, and increases breast milk production.
- Second is exercise, perform regular postnatal care exercises; (diaphragmatic breathing,
walking, stretching, abdominal exercise, pelvic tilt exercise. This could strengthen
abdominal muscles and regain the elasticity that was stretched out during pregnancy.
