Objectives:

Our objective in Week 1 is to have a plan for our fundraising activities, where
in the fund that will be gained will be used for our project.Our objective in

What did you contribute to the realization of the project/activity?

In this activity, I can say that I listened to my leaders and somehow shared some of my
suggestions about the topic. I also engaged in voting; we did it so that we could decide
what would be used for our fundraising.

What insights/realizations did you gain from your participation in the said
project/activity? In what way did it make you a better person?

I realized that in this kind of situation, we really need to participate and be active in
making suggestions so that we can overcome our shyness. Voting is also a great thing to
do so that everyone will have a voice and the choice will come from the majority.

Objectives:

In week 2, we created a Yema for our fundraising activity. The profit that we will have
will be used as our fund for the coming projects. The objective of this week is to create
Yema and sell it to customers in order to gain funds.

What did you contribute to the realization of the project/activity?

I belong to those people who made Yema at the house of our classmate. I think I
contributed well. We finished creating it as the day ended. We put it in a plastic jar and
refrigerated it.

What insights/realizations did you gain from your participation in the said
project/activity? In what way did it make you a better person?

I realized that making a product is a complex thing to do, especially if it is homemade or

man-made. You’ll get tired, but in the end, it is worth it. I give high respect to those
who create goods for others by themselves and sell them to earn an income.

Objectives:

The objective of our class in week 3 is to raise funds for our project. There is also a
revision of a fundraising activity. Instead of creating products, we decided to have a
sign for a cause for our fundraising activity. Thanks to our NSTP instructor, who
suggested it.

What did you contribute to the realization of the project/activity?

I did my part in conducting a sign for a cause so that I could remit it to the treasurer. I
also attended class meetings about the revisions to our project

What insights/realizations did you gain from your participation in the said
project/activity? In what way did it make you a better person?

Conducting a sign for a cause is a hard thing to do, especially for people like me who
are shy around other people. I realized that in some aspects of our lives, we should
overcome and face our fears in order to grow as people.

Objectives:

The objective of our class is to make a decision and finalize our project. The main goal is
to choose a project that will be sustainable and helpful to our selected beneficiaries.

What did you contribute to the realization of the project/activity?

I attended class meetings in which we all decided on the final project. We also
brainstormed abbreviations for our project’s name, PROJECT CHILI.

What insights/realizations did you gain from your participation in the said
project/activity? In what way did it make you a better person?

The final product should be decided by the majority. Also, we need to participate in
those kinds of activities so that we’ll have many ideas.

Objectives:

The leaders visited the community and the school where the implementation of our
project will happen. The main objective of this activity is to make sure that everything is
prepared and that we are allowed to do our project in the said community.

What did you contribute to the realization of the project/activity?

I attended school meetings wherein our class talked about the community, the things
that we needed to prepare, and the documents that we needed to have ready to be able
to implement our project in the community. I listened attentively to our leaders.

What insights/realizations did you gain from your participation in the said
project/activity? In what way did it make you a better person?

I realized that in order to effectively implement a project in a community, you need to

talk first to the people in charge in that community so that there will be no conflict at
the end or during the implementation. I believe that communication is the key.

Objectives:

In week 6, our objective is to test making the product, learn how to create it, and learn
the ingredients needed as well as the processes involved in making it.

What did you contribute to the realization of the project/activity?

We prepared the steps or procedures that are needed in making the products. We used
technology, the internet, and all of the resources available to search for the procedures
and ingredients for our product.

What insights/realizations did you gain from your participation in the said
project/activity? In what way did it make you a better person?

Testing a product is a crucial thing to do because it may lead to success or failure. So

you really need to be prepared for the outcome. But with the help of our research and
production committees, our product testing is successful. All you need is trust and
focus on the things that you need to do.

Objectives:

Our objective in week 7 is to prepare all the things needed for the seminar or the
implementation of our project. We did programs, certificates, and bought things,
materials, and ingredients for the project.

What did you contribute to the realization of the project/activity?

Many of us contributed this week, and the leaders assigned each of us some tasks to do.
For my part, I’m the one who did the certificates that will be given to the awardees,
together with my other classmates.

What insights/realizations did you gain from your participation in the said
project/activity? In what way did it make you a better person?

Conducting a seminar is a hard thing to do; you really need to be prepared and ready
for the circumstances that will arise. But with the help of everyone, things became
easier. The class united as one and prepared all the things that we needed for the
seminar.

Objectives:

The main objective of our class this week is to implement our product for our
beneficiaries and teach them how to make it. It is also our goal to tell them the
ingredients needed, the materials needed, and especially the purpose of our project.

What did you contribute to the realization of the project/activity?

I’m a part of the documentation committee, so my tasks are to take pictures and videos
of the process of making chili oil, our product, and also to document the program and
the happenings in the place. Also, I helped with some tasks that I knew I could
contribute to, like sealing the chili oil products and carrying heavy materials.

What insights/realizations did you gain from your participation in the said
project/activity? In what way did it make you a better person?

This week, I learned how to make chili oil. I learned the process and everything. It is
helpful to me because we are selling siomai, and I can teach the process to my parents
so that they don’t need to buy chili oil from other shops. I realized that making a
product is really hard; you need a lot of energy and patience.

Objectives:

This week, the objective of our class is to sell our products so that we can raise funds for
future purposes. And also, for other people to try our delicious product.

What did you contribute to the realization of the project/activity?

In this activity, I contributed in the sense that I shared the post on our page regarding
our product. I also invited people, or Facebook friends, to like our page. In that way,
they’ll be notified and be aware that we are selling this kind of product.

What insights/realizations did you gain from your participation in the said
project/activity? In what way did it make you a better person?

Selling a product is also hard, especially if it is homemade. Other people think that if it
is homemade, it is not delicious. You really need to have perseverance if you want to
market your product to other people and on social media.
