 Configuration of Gas line for site selection
The closer the digester is from the gas point of use:
• The easier and faster is the installation of the gas line;
• The higher is the biogas flow.

It is important to consider that a gas line post must be install to

support the gas line every 8 to 10 meters.

The slope of the gas line will have to be 10%: 1 meter vertical slope Minimum
every 10 meters. 1 meter

 Make sure to install the

biodigester where the gas line
will not disturb the way of
vehicles or animals!

before the installation day?

Material Preparation before Installation
Prepare 0.7 times the
digester size of Water to be
filled in the digester on the
day of installation.
Ex.: Sistema 6 = 0.7 * 6 =
3.6 m3 or 3600 liters.

Prepare cow dung to
do the initial feeding
of the digester on the
day of installation: 10
times the daily feeding
with cow dung.

Prepare 1 metal/concrete/

meters between the biodigester
and the biogas point of use

kitchen and the biogas post. The gas line
will then be fixed to the house.
