Undertaking on Code of Conduct, Harassment, and Academic Honesty

Code of Conduct

Students enrolling in the upGrad and IMT Ghaziabad AGM programme assume an obligation to
conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with the culture and values of both IMT Ghaziabad
and upGrad. All students enrolled are hereby obliged to abide by this code of conduct.

IMT Ghaziabad and upGrad are committed to fostering a learning environment that is conducive for
healthy and constructive learning. Each student’s conduct in the online and face-to-face interaction
must conform to standards inherently necessary to advance the learning process. Verbal or written
conduct in personal interactions, postings, images and videos that is unwelcome, or inappropriate, or
that denigrates or displays hostility or disrespect towards IMT Ghaziabad, partner organisation(s),
fellow students, or members of the teaching and non-teaching staff from IMT Ghaziabad, or partner
organisations would constitute a breach of discipline and would result in disciplinary action, and could
be grounds for appropriate action, including (but not limited to) lowering of grade or F grade in the
course, and even termination from the programme with no reimbursement of fees.

Harassment

Any discriminatory action based upon (but not limited to) caste, religion, gender or physical handicap
would also be viewed as harassment and would entail disciplinary action.

Academic Dishonesty

Acts of Academic Dishonesty include the following: Copying from another’s examination or
assignment work, or allowing another to copy from one’s own submissions; unpermitted collaboration,
plagiarism, revising and resubmitting a quiz or exam for re-evaluation without the instructor’s
knowledge and consent; representing the work of another as your own work; giving or receiving aid
on academic assignments under circumstances in which such aid was not permitted; impersonating
in online interactions, including logging in with a user ID other than your own; and inappropriate
tampering with online academic systems. Academic Dishonesty could be grounds for appropriate
action, including (but not limited to) F grade in the course, lowering of grade, or even termination from
the programme with no reimbursement of fees.

✓ That I have understood the Code of Conduct and policies on Harassment and Academic Honesty.
✓ That I shall abide by the rules and regulations of IMT Ghaziabad and upGrad.
✓ That in the event that I am found guilty of violation of any of the policies stated herein, I agree to
any penal action that IMT Ghaziabad and/or upGrad may impose on me, including my withdrawal
from the programme.
