The First Bicol Gender and Development Convention (GADCon) themed “Advancing AlaGADs: Sharing of Best Practices” will be conducted by Bicol Regional Gender and Development Committee on October 3-4, 2023 at Legazpi City Convention Center, Old Airport Road, Legazpi City. The activity is aimed towards the promotion of GAD mainstreaming among government agencies, local ‘government units, non-government organizations, and academe in the Bicol Region. It will serve as an avenue to share best practices, knowledge, and experiences in order to encourage collaboration, promote innovation, and improve efficiency on GAD mainstreaming. Relative thereto, all local government units (LGUs), preferably LGU GAD Focal Point Systems (GFPS) members, are invited to attend the foregoing convention.
