Bonot-Santa Rosa is a barangay in

the municipality of Calabanga, in the


province of Camarines Sur. Its
population as determined by the 2020
Census was 4,111. This represented
4.62% of the total population of
Calabanga.
Bonot-Santa Rosa is situated at
approximately 13.7366, 123.2532, in
the island of Luzon. Elevation at
these coordinates is estimated at 6.8
meters or 22.3 feet above mean sea level.

Bonot-Santa Rosa shares a common border with the


following barangay(s):

▪ Manguiring, Calabanga, Camarines Sur


▪ Sibobo, Calabanga, Camarines Sur
▪ Belen, Calabanga, Camarines Sur

Barangay Bonot Sta. Rosa, has a total land area of 137.10


which is divided into seven (7) zones. The nearest city to the
Barangay is Naga City. The travel time from Naga City to
Municipality of Calabanga is approximately an hour via
jeepney which is equivalent to 22.9 km. It is 15 minutes travel
from Calabanga Centro to Bonot Sta. Rosa.

Majority of the people in the


village live in thatched nipa
huts. Their main source of
income come from the
bounty of the sea.

During the stormy season,


their lives, properties, and
livelihood are threatened,
washed by the waves,
soaked by strong rain, and
blown apart by the wind. And the residents suffer untold economic hardship, rock
bottom.
