Guidelines on Students Assessment and Grading School Year 2020 – 2021

1. The previous system of assessment and grading under DepEd order no.8 series of
2015 will be utilized with a modification on the context of this school year.
2. The students will be graded according to three component as follows:

GRADE COMPONENT SPECIFICS


Written Work (WW) This component will utilized the same percentage of
grade as specified in the respective subject under
DepEd order no.8 series of 2015.
In this school year this will include results in:
1. Discussion Board
2. Post Assessment

Performance Task (PT) This component will utilized the same percentage of
grade as specified in the respective subject under
DepEd order no.8 series of 2015.
In this school year this will include results in task
performed by the students in class that require the
execution of skills and competencies.

Portfolio (instead of This will comprise the twenty percent (20%) of the

of the student grade, the computation will be:

5. This will be added to the computed grades in Written Works (WW) and Performance
Task (PT) to get the complete grades of the students then using the transmutation of
grades to FINAL GRADE (transmuted grade) of the student in the grading period.
