paraphimosis

Paraphimosis is a common urologic

emergency that occurs in uncircumcised
males when the foreskin becomes
trapped behind the corona of the glans
penis. This can lead to strangulation of the
glans and painful vascular compromise,
distal venous engorgement, edema, and
even necrosis.
