Ladies and gentlemen, honoured guests!
Teachers, parents, and beloved friends!

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic

relations between Vietnam and Australia, in order to strengthen the friendship and
mutual understanding between the people of Vietnam and Australia, especially for the
younger generation, the Union of Organizations City Friendship Organization,
Vietnam-Australia Friendship Association of Hanoi city in collaboration with Ba Dinh
District, Australian Embassy in Vietnam to organize a competition to learn about the
country and people of Australia in 2023.
This is a learning contest for secondary and high school students in Hanoi city,
Vietnam-Australia Friendship Associations, and bilateral friendship associations of the
Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations, in both English and Vietnamese. The
contest officially launched in early October 2023. Over a short time span, the contest
has received the attention and participation of a large number of teachers and students
from secondary and high schools in the city.
Today, the Union of Friendship Organizations, the Vietnam-Australia Friendship
Association in Hanoi City, Ba Dinh District and the Australian Embassy in Vietnam
organized the Closing and Awarding Ceremony of the Learning Contest: the Australia
and its people

Associations and teachers, parents, and students from schools. in the capital Hanoi.
