Note:
1. In order to maintain the diaphragm carburetor in good condition it must be cleaned and checked periodically.
Dust and careless handling are the major causes of carburetor malfunctions. Cleaning and checking should be
conducted in a clean place. For cleaning. gasoline should be used. Solutions including alcohol. acetone. lacquer.
benzol. etc. should not be used as cleaning agents for they will damage the synthetic rubber in the carburetor.
2. Fuel filter is attached in the fuel tank.
It is advisable that the fuel filter be replaced with a new one each season. If the filter is found faulty (obstructing
the fuel flow or having a breakage in the element). it should be replaced as an assembly unit.
