Hello Prachi,

This is Aditya Kumarasamy, a student of NIT Trichy representing Pragyan. We spoke on the phone
today.

Pragyan is the Techno-Managerial fest of NIT Trichy, which is entirely student-run and non-profit.
Pragyan holds ISO 20121:2012 certification for Sustainable Event Management and ISO
9001:2015 certification for Quality Management Systems. Pragyan receives a footfall of
about 15,000 every year. We conduct various Events, Workshops, Hackathons, Guest Lecture
Series, Infotainment shows, Social Responsibility events and many more. The prize money of
Pragyan is worth 14 Lakh Rupees.

We wish to associate with Qualcomm for Pragyan for this edition of Pragyan’24.

Among the many activities conducted at Pragyan, electrifying infotainment shows and Guest
lectures given by prominent famous personalities are some of them.

In the past editions of Pragyan, we have had Lost Stories Music (from Sunburn Festival),
Pineapple express, Karan Singh Magic Show, Illuminati Dance Crew, Laser shows, etc as some
of the infotainment shows.

Moreover, we have had eminent personalities like Ashneer Grover (BharatPe founder & Shark
Tank fame), Nirmala Sitaram (Finance Minister of India), Jai Sai Deepak (Supreme court
Lawyer), Ajay Bhat (Co-Inventor of the USB) etc. as guest lecturers.

Among the events, Circuitrix is an event which is a problem-statement solving-based competition

on electrical circuits aimed to test the participant's ability to apply their theoretical knowledge in
practical situations. This event has a prize pool worth Rs. 20,000.
