Welcome to the Festival of Startup 2023,
where we unleash the power of innovation and entrepreneurship. Join us
on this exciting journey as we explore the latest trends, technologies, and

Why Festival of Startups 2023
The Festival of StartUp 2023 was aimed at bridging the gap between young
incubators and the investors, held on 6th and 7th September 2023 at Auto Cluster
Auditorium, Chinchwad, Pune.

Startups, investors, expert mentors and dignitaries from various fields had
participated in this event. The Festival of Startup 23 had lined up impressive stream
of activities as mentoring for start-ups, Seminars, question and answer sessions
pertaining to start-ups (Ashray), shark tank event (Entrepreneurial Empowerment).

Through this program, a vibrant platform is made available for the presentation of
startups projects where dynamic young entrepreneurs came and pitched their
projects and ideas to investors.

Creating the most favorable Startup Eco-hub at PCMC
We, at PCSIC celebrated this mega event at PCMC. The main purpose of this
event was to create awareness about the Startup ecosystem in the PCMC
community & boost the morale of Startups operating in this ecosystem.
During this event we have been focussing on Startups operating in below 3
categories as PCMC & PMC is becoming a hub for these technologies
1.Agrotech
2.Manufacturing
3.Deep Technology (Like AI, ML, VR etc…)
Though we are focusing on these categories of Startups our FOS 2023 (Festival of
Startup 2023) was open to all Startups, Entrepreneurs & Startup professionals.
This was a 2-day event in which we had StartUp Show Case and Demo,
workshops and seminars to keep the Startup community engaged.

 Day 1 - Ignite the Entrepreneurial Spirit
The chief guests of Festival of StartUp 2023 were Mr Sujit Jain, Chairman &
Managing Director, Netsurf Communications Pvt. Ltd , Mr.Manpreet Singh,
Chief Program Officer, National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA),
Mr.Paramanandhan Balasubramanian – Chancellor of SBUP, Prof. (Dr) G. K
Shirude Vice Chancellor of SBUP, welcomed by Mr. Shekhar Singh,
Commissioner PCMC & Chairman PCSIC and Mr. Kiran Vaidya, Managing
Director at Auto Cluster Development and Research Institute Centre.

The show was attended by college faculties, students, young incubators,

startUps and the investors on 6th September 2023 at Auto Cluster,
Chinchwad, Pune.

 Day 2 - Ignite the Entrepreneurial Spirit
The second day of Festival of StartUp 2023 started with “Startup Evaluation,
MVP Analysis and Fund Crisis Management in Business” by Mr.Kapil Bairagi,
Assistant General Manager (HOABL ) followed by IAS panel discussion on
“Requirement of Innovative Infrastructure for the Development of the city"
Session, “Trying your way - Tips & Tricks for Startup Growth” by Mr. Bharat
Oswal,“Startup Human Resource Strategy” by Ms Meera Manerikar, Panel
Discussion on- “Topic – “Adapting Innovation in Challenging Times“ and Grass
root stories by Girish Khatri (Khatri Bandhu) the day concluded with finals of
Exciting Investor Pitch and Award ceremony.

The show was attended by college faculties, students,young incubators, early

stage StartUps and the investors on 7th September 2023 at Auto Cluster,
Chinchwad, Pune.

Our Approach:
Aimed to register early stage startUps and aspiring students at ideation stage .
Registered startups and students were shortlisted through preliminary round at
SBUP (support partnes).
Created Startup evaluation forms to shortlist startups and studens in preliminary
round.
Shortlisted startups and students were invited for the final round on 6th and 7th
Sept at Festival of StartUp23 .
Created evaluation forms for final round of Pitch Competition and Investor Pitch
Round.
Each startup and were issued a token number for evaluation by jury and investor to
ensure fairness in rating startups.
Startups and students were shortlisted for the final round on the basis of their
scores recieved by Panel of Jury.
The jury announcd the winners of Pitch Competition and Investor Pitch on the basis
of there Presentation pitch,Business Model,Revenue Model,Team Capabilities,
Monetization startegy and scalability.
