ABSTRACT:

Aim:

The Plant Monitoring System (PMS) presented in this project encompasses an innovative
solution aimed at monitoring and maintaining optimal environmental conditions for plant
growth. Integrating various sensors, data acquisition modules, and a user-friendly interface,
this system offers real-time monitoring and control capabilities. By providing insights into
crucial parameters such as soil moisture, temperature, humidity, light levels, and nutrient
content, the PMS aids in fostering healthy plant growth and maximizing agricultural
productivity.

Methodology:

The process typically begins with requirements gathering, where stakeholders identify the
key functionalities and objectives of the system, including the types of plants to monitor,
desired data parameters (such as soil moisture, temperature, light levels), and the intended
scale of implementation. Next, the system's design phase involves creating the architecture,
selecting appropriate sensors, and determining data transmission methods, considering
factors like real-time monitoring or periodic data collection. the implementation phase
involves the actual building and integration of hardware, software, and sensor components.
Calibration and testing of sensors to ensure accurate data collection are vital during this
phase. Subsequently, data processing and analysis mechanisms are established to interpret
the collected data, leveraging algorithms or machine learning models to derive meaningful
insights. Integration of visualization tools or user interfaces allows stakeholders to easily
access and interpret the monitored plant data.
