We, from BARANGAY 11-Love B, propose to organize an exciting and inclusive Dodgeball
Tournament that aims to promote physical activity, team spirit, and community engagement.

Event Objectives:

1. Promote Physical Fitness: Encourage participants to engage in physical activity and

promote a healthy lifestyle through the enjoyable sport of dodgeball.

4. Fundraising: Generate funds for IUCS, contributing to its ongoing initiatives and
community projects.

Event Details:

Date: January 9, 2024 (Could be subject to change)

Venue: Imus Unida Christian School Annex Building Court

Tournament Format:
- Teams of 4 players (mixed gender encouraged)
- Round-robin format leading to knockout rounds
- Championship match with awards for winners

Dodgeball Mechanics

Game Rules:
1. A match will consist of 2 rounds.
2. Each round will have a time limit of 15:00 with a 5 minute half-time break in between.
3. The game begins with a simultaneous rush to the centerline to retrieve the dodgeballs.
4. Players hit by a thrown ball are considered "out" and must exit the court.
5. If a player catches an opponent's throw, the throwing player is out, and one player from
the catching team can re-enter the game.
6. A player stepping out of bounds is considered out.
7. Players cannot hold onto a ball for more than 5 seconds.
8. If a team eliminates all players from the opposing team, they win the round.

Substitutions:
1. Substitutions are allowed only during a stoppage in play.
2. Substituted players must enter and exit through their team's designated substitution zone.

Scoring:
1. Teams earn 1 point for each round won.
2. In the event of a tie, a sudden-death round will determine the winner.

Code of Conduct:
1. Players must exhibit good sportsmanship and adhere to the rules.
2. Unsportsmanlike conduct, such as intentional headshots or verbal abuse, will result in
penalties or disqualification.

Equipment:
1. The organizers will provide official dodgeballs.
2. Players are encouraged to wear appropriate athletic attire and non-marking shoes.

Referees:
1. Trained referees will officiate each match.
2. Referees' decisions are final and not subject to protest.

Tournament Schedule:
1. The tournament will start at 8:00 AM and end at 4:00 PM
