Executive Board Meeting Minutes

Meeting began at 4:32 PM and ending at 5:12 PM

Treasurer’s Report:
Current balances are:

Committees:
Events – BSSA Holiday Gathering will be on Thursday, December 7th at Student Cafeteria for 4:30pm
to 6pm. Thanks to Wendy for coordinating the set up for this. A flyer inviting everyone will be going
out soon.

Elections/Nominations – None

Negotiations – Contract is up for negotiation in 2024-2025 year. We’re looking to see if anyone would
like to join the committee so we can start putting together a list of items/concerns.

Budget/Finance – None

Sick Bank – None

Grievances – None

Liaison (Labor Mgmt) – next meeting is in January 2024.

COVID sick days – There’s no state of emergency in place however, there is a process in
place should someone tested positive for COVID and not be able to work. If you have a positive test
result and need to isolate, there’s a letter of affirmation that needs to be filled out and turned in, this
allows you to get COVID sick days (instead of using your own sick days) for the isolation time.

Newsletter – The November-December newsletter will be sent out soon.

Membership – Continuously updating.

Complaints/Questions: None

Old Business: Kelly is hoping to have 1 survey out by the end of next week for members to
participate in.
New Business:
SRP Day – a postcard will be mailed out about this. If you bring this postcard to the BSSA Holiday
Gathering, and you are a member or you sign up the night of the gathering, your name will be entered
into a drawing for one of two $25 gas cards.

2nd shift rep – Janet Lewis has offered to be the 2nd shift representative and will start attending the
BSSA meetings.

Holiday Gathering – There will be snacks, drinks, music and possibly games. Bring a friend and join
in the festivities. Remember your SRP postcard for your chance to win a gas card!

Next Board Meeting – Thursday, December 7th 4:30pm to 6pm – Student Cafeteria
