Meeting began at 4:35 PM and ending at 5:25pm

Treasurer’s Report:
Current balances are:

$ 3,652.83 – M&T Checking Account (total checking)

Committees:
Sunshine – currently on hold due to low funds.

Elections/Nominations – upcoming elections for 4 positions on the Board – VP, Treasurer, and 2
Director positions. Nomination ballots will be going out March-April.

Negotiations – None

Budget/Finance – None

Sick Bank – None

Grievances – None

Liaison (Labor Mgmt) – January 31st meeting: An email was sent from Jamie about clarification on
snow days. Labor management is working to create an addendum to be added to the contract to
clarify the language on snow days. Self-evaluations are not necessary to be evaluated or to request a
level advancement.

Newsletter – Any input for March/April’s newsletter, please let Lisa know

Membership – Continuously updating.

New Business:
Snow Day – A member brought up working at a component District and how to handle snow days
since there’s different scenarios on snow days depending on what your job is. Communication is
necessary so we’re able to assist with how to get everyone on the same page about how to handle
snow days.
Unum – Unum dues will no longer be deducted for those that are not BSSA paying members. We’re
working on clarification on the language of the policies.

Approval for Audit Committee – the request to approve the following members to the Audit Team:
Lisa Besemer, Jackie Gunn, and Mike Fenn
Results: 5 – Yes 2 – Absent

Bylaws – A training session will be set up with NYSUT to assist with updating the Bylaws. The Board
will have to schedule a meeting to go over the items to be updated. Jamie sent out a model Bylaw for
the Executive Board to review.
