The Episcopal Church has collected a wide range of
resources for Lent. These resources include
formation, bulletin inserts, readings, and other tools
and now available online: click here.
Souper Bowl
Sunday
Sunday, February 11, 2024,
is Souper Bowl Sunday.
Please bring a few extra
dollars to church to add to
the plate offering. Our goal
for the collection is at least
$200.00. All donations
will be sent to St, Francis
of Assisi Kitchen,
Pasta Dinner
The next Home-made
Pasta Dinner is
scheduled for
Saturday, February 3,
2024. It will be take-
outs only, and dinners
will be available for
pick-up in the Parish
Hall from 3:00 – 6:00
pm. Cost is $15.00 per dinner. Christine McGeachie is
in charge and is asking for volunteers and
contributions to make this long-awaited fund raiser a
huge success.
Come and enjoy the feast.

Convocation III
Convocation III met via Zoom on Thursday, January 18,
2024. St. James – St. George Episcopal Church was
represented by Jane Evans, Walter Kulasinsky and Ray
Poggensee. The main topic on conversation was the
Discernment Committee's work on a partnership with the
Diocese of Central Pennsylvania. Next meeting will be on
Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 11:00 am at St. James – St.
George Episcopal Church. Ray Poggensee is the
coordinator for this event.
