1. Overpowered Openers
OP Openers are “types” of first messages that are battle tested and get responses. Here are two
examples:
● Teases - “Damn, you didn’t strike me as the type of girl who’s into golf.”
● Challenge - “Says her music taste is unique - but listens to T Swift.”
There are a number of OP Openers, each with its own template where you can plug in an
observation from her profile.
These next OP Openers are a bit more advanced and hard to make a general template. But
this should give you an idea of how you can use them:
● Funny hypothetical - Come up with a funny activity or theory based on her profile.
○ "Let's recreate that third picture, but I'm the ATV."
● Playful Misinterpretation - Intentionally misinterpret something in her profile playfully.
○ "Your profile says you love dogs - hopefully you'll date tall blondes too."
KEEP IN MIND - ideally every OP Opener can be 100% made from scratch, but some lend
themselves more to templates than others. So while these templates are a good starting point,
feel free to get creative and create your own openers with the underlying principles.
For example, you could also use a Challenge opener by saying “Bet I have more tattoos than
you” if she talks about loving tattoos in her bio. Get creative and have fun with it!
● 1. OBSERVATION - I start by scanning through her profile to see what stands out to me.
● The things I usually look for are subjective interests like music, TV shows, food
choices, and hobbies. Since they’re subjective, they’re safe to be playful about.
● What is she wearing? What activities does she enjoy? What vibe does she give
off? I dead-ass write down a few things if I need to. This doesn’t take me that
long.
● 2. OVERPOWERED OPENERS - I then write out (but don’t send) a few Overpowerered
Openers. I want to see which OP Openers I can pair with one of my observations to craft
that perfect first message.
● A simple Overpowered Opener is “disqualification” where you take an
observation and then shit-test her on it. The first OP Opener I try to pair an
observation with is always disqualification.
● Disqualification Openers use the following format:
● “XYZ? Hopefully we can change that.”
● “You like XYZ… think we might have to break up.”
● “Damn, fan of XYZ… we need to have a talk.”
● But experiment with other OP opener types so you have a few solid options to
work with
● 3. PAIR - Now that I have a solid selection of opening lines to work with, I choose the
observation + OP Opener pairing that is the best fit, and plug the observation into the
general structure of the OP Opener.
● 4. SEND - Lastly, I just send the damn message.
Once you have a toolbox of OP Openers to use, all you need are
observations to plug and play - most guys can’t come up with a list of
OP Openers types from scratch, but any guy can look at a profile, make
observations and then plug and play. And it’s simple when you follow
the OOPS Framework.
