How does the T-Cell Select reagent kit work?

Magnetic cell separation of mononuclear immune cells

• Magnetic beads and antibodies target surface markers of specific cell types
• These specific cell types are isolated directly from the peripheral blood
using a magnet
• Positive selection is used to ensure high recovery and purity

Over 500,000 T-SPOT.TB test results have been reported using

magnetic bead based cell isolation at Oxford Diagnostic Laboratories®
