It sounds pleasure to express my opinions and thoughts about my past, present and planned future
concerning to my education and career. This statement of purpose comprises my educational background,
reason to choose Canada, the education provider, the choice of the course for my future and it’s relevancy
that supports my educational plans. To achieve my goals, I am now planning to apply for Diploma course in
Esthetician from Fleming College. I assure that it will prepare me for dealing with successful and challenging
career after the graduation

Introduction:
I am Amarjot Singh. I am an optimistic person along with a confident and hardworking outlook. I can use
my collaborative skills to study and work in teams. I belong to Mandheri, Kurukshetra, Haryana. Becoming
an esthetician is a good and popular career choice as beauty treatments flourish and day spas in the current
busy population of India. Choosing day spa career is hence a great decision for people like me who love
working with people, desire making others feel and look great, or just thrive in a relaxed environment.
Becoming an esthetician will give me a licensed professionalism and put me in a position to provide spa
serves for different customers in India.

Educational Background: I have commenced and accomplished my 10 th standard from CBSE and Senior
Secondary education from same board exam with subjects chemistry, biology and physics.

PTE: I aim to pursue further studies from Canada; hence I have appeared for the PTE exam and completed
the same with the following result. Listening: 63, Reading 59, Writing 55, Speaking 65, Overall 59 Bands

Why I have chosen to study in Canada?

Why did I choose to study Diploma in Esthetician program?

I want to become a compassionate esthetician to performs skin, body, and hair treatments. This
program will give me the skills needed in consulting with clients to evaluate their requirements, give
informed recommendations and explain services. I am interested in this field because I can assist clients in
selecting the right treatments while ensuring their care and satisfaction. This course matches my area of
interest and I will be studying about different areas- Fundamentals of Skin Care, Introduction to
Aromatherapy, Makeup Artistry and Cosmetology, Biology for Esthetics, Body Treatments , etc. It
will enable me to face the challenges of the rapidly advancing development in skin care, fitness,
health and wellness. This program also provides practical placements which will help me gain an
understanding of international health standards and polish my communication skills. Undergoing this
program, I will be gaining finest skills to be a successful esthetician in India and get the opportunity to work
with renowned spa and skincare centers.
I will learn the art and science of Essential Oils using Fleming’s award winning, ethically produced
European Aromatherapy skin care line. Advanced products include an innovative medical and clinical
product line for the treatment of acne, and a clinical botanical science - based product line designed for
correction and management of aging skin. I’d like to obtain a position in a salon/spa that will allow me to
utilize my schooling and training. I am Passionate about the skincare and make- up industry. I have ability
to work well with others as well as part of a team. This course give me knowledge to consult with my future
clients to recommend an appropriate treatment, facials, chemical peels, extraction, and waxing.

Career Opportunities:
Upon successful completion of this program, I will achieve the fundamental understanding of scientific and
professional practices used to deliver treatment to clients with skin treatments and their activities of daily
living in all age-groups. Post the successful completion of course of my Esthetician program from Fleming
College, Canada, I will return back to India with the advanced fitness skills and skincare techniques. As
Indian spa and skincare industry is undergoing a huge revolution these days, the demand of skin experts
and spa experts has increased exponentially in the last decade and this upward trend is likely to continue in
the coming years too as more and more people are becoming health conscious.

After my return back to India, ample employment opportunities will be open for me to work in both private
and government organizations. I will be able to work in various profiles such as Skin Expert, Wellness
Consultant, Spa Therapist etc. The top recruiters for the same are corporate fitness centers, hotels &
Resort etc. and an addition to this I will be equipped to open my own private practice center.

allied field in India because; the Indian spa and skincare sector is expanding in huge dimensions-thus
facilitating the creation of an immense pool of working opportunities for professionals & thus less
competition will be encountered while seeking a working opportunity, having an international
qualification would be an added asset for me to easily avail a working opportunity at renowned Spa
Resorts and Hotels in India & an opportunity to work while staying close to my family.
