NOTE: Model the Hull first before you start with the garage door tutorial
Open SolidWorks
Open the exported body of the Hull tutorial as main body: Garage_Door.sldprt
Select the blue surface and click on the 2D Sketch icon to make a new sketch
Click on the Normal To option to rotate and zoom the model to normal to the selected surface
Go to: Insert > Cut > Extrude or click on the Extruded Cut icon
Click OK
Change to 100 mm
Click OK
Go to: Insert > Features > Fillet/Round or click on the Fillet icon
Click OK
Go to: Insert > Features > Fillet/Round or click on the Fillet icon
Click OK
Go to: Insert > Features > Fillet/Round or click on the Fillet icon
Click OK
Select the blue surface and click on the 2D Sketch icon to make a new sketch
Click on the Normal To option to rotate and zoom the model to normal to the selected surface
Go to: Insert > Cut > Extrude or click on the Extruded Cut icon
Change to 100 mm
Click OK
Go to: Insert > Features > Fillet/Round or click on the Fillet icon
Click OK
Go to: Insert > Features > Fillet/Round or click on the Fillet icon
Click OK
Go to: Insert > Features > Fillet/Round or click on the Fillet icon
Click OK
Go to Insert > Pattern / Mirror > Mirror or click on the Mirror icon
Select the blue body of the garage door as shown in the picture
Click OK
Click OK
Select Plane1 and click on the 2D Sketch icon to make a new sketch
Click on the Normal To option to rotate and zoom the model to normal to the selected plane
Click again at the Normal To button to rotate the view 180 degrees
Change the length and position of the line by clicking on the dimension button
Click OK
Go to: Insert > Cut > Extrude or click on the Extruded Cut icon
Change to 8 mm
Click on the Reverse Offset option to make sure that the Extruded Cut is directed inwards the body
Click OK
Click on the + icon before the Solid Bodies map in the Feature tree
Click on the right mouse button and click on the appearances icon
Change the color to a custom dark blue by changing the RGB numbers to 0, 0, 128
Click OK
Click on CutExtrude4
Click OK
