7.2.2. Sensor Input Circuit
This circuit monitors the seven sensors and outputs to PCB No. 6358 on the Main Unit.
Sensor 1: Rack Detection Sensor
This sensor detects the existence ofthe racks in the right rack pool.
The direct light detection method Is used for detection of the racks.
‘One photo transistor is used as the sensor, and one LED is located at the opposite side of right rack
pool as the light source,
The reflecting light photo sensor may be affected to its function by the scattered light around the

LED should be it intermittently by employing the pulse diving circuit, which triggers the mono-stable
rmult-vibrator combined into the photo detector circuit to stabilize the operation senscr.
When AUTO analysis starts or immediately after the rack currently analyzed on the measurement ine
being moved out from the right rack pool, the signal level at port P47 of M2 (MB89715A) is turned to
“Hin order to turn on the light source LED. After 40 usec, the sensor status is monitored, and then,
LED is turned off. The signal level of P62 will be "L” when the sensor detects rack, or “H" if there is
no rack.
