b) What trends or concerns can you identify?


 From the line graph, we can see a trend of monthly RIW not too distinct with most

of the data in 2018 and 2020 close falling between 1 and 2. This depicts a slightly

costant trend of monthly RIW.

 We can also identify on point in the line curve of 2019, which can be statistically

said to and outlet. In April 2019, the RIW was almost twice the lowest. However,

the rest of the data are close depicting a slightly constant trend in 2019.
 Clearly, the RIW was higher in 2018 than in 2019 and 2020, besides few months

that they overlapped.

c) What investigation would you want to conduct and what your next steps would be?
Please explain your thoughts and steps from the HIM Department point of view.
For example, coding quality, audit, CMG, stuff education.

Considering the trends mentioned above, I would suggest more

investigation to be conducted on the performance of the employees. It is crucial

to conduct a performance appraisal to understand the quality of staff

performance, which will enable the company to identify problems and improve

the company’s performance. Understanding the workers helps to enchance their

performance through certain ways such as rewarding, compensation, and

friendly competition. As such, the employees would be satisfied and motivated to

perform better.
