Task Instructions

Week 9.
You will be assigned a
group of 3 to 4 people

(Task 1)

 Create your own digital image (e.g. a photograph)

explanation cross-reference to some relevant
literature on leadership to highlight the links
between your lay concepts on leading and theories
of leadership.
 In your groups discuss these explanations and the
diff erent perceptions each of you had on the
images. Discuss how diff erent people view ideas
and concepts diff erently based on experience,
knowledge, and language.
 In your allocated groups, work collaboratively to
create an original group image tagged with 3
words. This image should represent the group’s
collective perception of leadership.
 Load this image into your individual Blog.

 Write your own explanation for the group’s choice

Note: Student blogs that contain comments from other students and show
collaboration, interaction and social learning will likely achieve higher marks based
on the marking criteria. Blogs that integrate conceptual and theoretical knowledge
with that knowledge and understanding developed in the practical experiential
exercises are more likely to meet the higher-level criteria set out below.
