Emirates Cabin Crew interview

- Interviewer: Welcome to emirates airlines Ons, I am Hanen.

- Interviewee: Hello, nice to meet you.

- Interviewer: Nice to meet you too, I hope we didn’t keep you waiting for

long.

- Interviewee: No, I had the chance to talk to you.

- Interviewer: That’s good. Ons, shall we start?

- Interviewee: Yes, sure!

- Interviewer: First of all, let me introduce myself, I am Hanen the HR of

Emirates airlines. As you know there is an open position in cabin crew

department, so, we have been interviewing candidates to fill the position as

soon as possible.

- Interviewee: Yes, I read about it on your website, and I think I am a good fill.

- Interviewer: we’ll see. So, Ons tell me about yourself.

- Interviewee: I recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing from

IHEC Sfax. I have gone through a two-month training in customer services at

CEG Company.

I am a people person, good listener, punctual and I am self-motivated, but I

don’t have a direct experience in hospitality.

In addition, I am a member of a charity foundation “UNIS”, an active

member in “Pole Etudiant Entrepreneur”. I have participated in events


organization like “Boot camp”, “Salon d’entreprise” and “foire universitaire

de sfax”.

- Interviewer: That’s great! So why do want to be a cabin crew?

- Interviewee: Being a cabin crew member isn’t just a job for me it’s a way of

life. I am passionate about providing exceptional customer service, ensuring

passenger safety, working in a dynamic environment and travelling to

various destinations. Plus, I always dreamt of wearing the uniform.

- Interviewer: Amazing! What do you know about our airlines?

- Interviewee: I read on your website that emirates airlines is a big

international airline based in Dubai. It flies to over 150 destinations in more

than 80 countries.

You have fancy plains like the Airbus A380 and Boeing 777s. also, you’ve

won lots of awards too.

Emirates is known for its super comfy first class and business class seats and

cool stuff like on-board showers.

- Interviewer: Awesome! Now, let’s play a part, I am the passenger you are the

cabin crew.

“Oh excuse me madam, can you help me? I don’t like this seat, I can’t recline

it and there is no room for my legs!”

- Interviewee: I do understand you madam, but we have conducted a research

that passengers don’t like when others clients recline their seats. So, our

company sticks the passenger’s needs.


Moreover, we do everything to make our tickets affordable, so we reduced

extra costs by adding extra seats, for sure there is less space for legs. But you

can fly cheaper.

- Interviewer: That’s creative answer. Now, if you see your colleague stealing,

what will do?

- Interviewee: I’ll inform my purser; I’ll definitely inform my company.

- Interviewer: Good! And how do you handle long working hours and irregular

schedules and not being able to see your family for extended periods of time?

- Interviewee: I am ready for the challenge of this job, with solid time

management and self-care skills, and I can adapt my routines for peak

performance on every flight. Also, technology helps me to stay close to my

family when I am far away.

- Interviewer: Well, Ons, do you prefer to work alone or on team?

- Interviewee: I am comfortable working both alone and as a part of a team. I

know there are times when it’s important to work independently, and other

times when it’s best to collaborate.

I am adaptable and can adjust my work style to fit the situation.

- Interviewer: Ons! It’s nice to meet you. I can tell you that you are a good

candidate. Except to hear from us within a week or so about the job.

- Interviewee: Nice meeting you too, thank you for your time.

- Interviewer: thank you for coming.
