INSTRUCTIONS FOR LL.M. DEGREE ADMISSION 2023-2024
(FIRST AND SECOND SEMESTER)

ADMISSION RELATED PROCESS ON 08/02/2024.

THE LL.M. ADMISSION PROCESS FOR THE ACADEMIC

YEAR 2023-2024 IS

ENCLOSED HEREWITH.
The names of candidates in the Final Waiting List are notified on the University
of Mumbai website and displayed on the notice board. The Final Waiting List is
prepared according to the Merit and eligibility norms of the University of Mumbai. The
candidates are required to remain present in the Department of Law Room No. 123,
First Floor, Department of Law, University of Mumbai, Fort Campus,
Mumbai – 400 032 on 08th February, 2024 at 11.00 a.m.

Admission process will start by calling upon candidates as per waiting merit list
for admission and after verification of documents, seat will be allotted as per vacant
seat available in particular category of each group. The verification of documents
and Admission Process will be conducted in Room No. 124.

LL.M. Admission process shall be subject to verification of documents.

Candidates are required to keep ready all relevant scanned documents and hard copy
of documents for the purpose of verification of documents. If Candidates fail to submit
their scanned documents, admission on specified time allotted to him / her then, his /
her claim for admission will be cancelled.

If candidate is absent when called upon for admission the opportunity will be
given to the next candidate present in Room No. 123 of the Law Department and also
vacant seat will be allotted to next candidate as per waiting merit list.

After confirmation of admission Candidates in the Final Waiting List are required
to do online Registration immediately submit two copies of Pre-Registration Form with
the Admission form to Law Department office, Room No. 126.
 The candidate is required to collect the Admission form in Room No. 126 and
submit the same immediately.

The candidate is required to submit (02) copies of Pass port size photograph.

LL.M. Admission is subject to verification of documents. In case of incomplete

submission of documents the candidate is not eligible/entitled for admission.

For the purpose of Verification of document and Approval of admission,

candidates are required to present their original documents for verification.

After verification of documents, office will approve the LL.M. admission of

candidate.

The Selected Candidate is required to draw Demand Draft in favour of “The

Finance and Accounts Officer, University of Mumbai,” payable at Mumbai and
submit the same to the Department of Law, Room No. 124, First Floor, University of
Mumbai.
Students are required to write their name, Course Name & group, academic
year, & contact no. at the overleaf of the DD.Amount payable is as follows :

Rs. 370/- Students of Reserved Category

stamp and signature of the concerned Principal on gazetted copy of the

Those candidates whose names are mentioned in the Final Waiting
list are hereby informed that they are required to present their documents for
verification at the Department of Law, Fort Campus, University of Mumbai,
Mumbai - 32. The schedule for the same is given bellow :-
