FRESH
GINGER
Giant Ginger is a superior variety of ginger (Zingiber
OUR PRODUCT

officinale) with HS Code 091011, known for its larger size and
distinctive flavor. Thriving gracefully in fertile soil, giant
ginger boasts large rhizomes, bright skin, and intensely
aromatic flesh.

Giant Ginger thrives in Indonesia's suitable natural

environment, such as highlands with fertile soil and warm
tropical climates. With its natural resources and experience
in cultivating giant ginger, Indonesia can produce over
200,000 tons per year, making it a leading producer of this
spice in the global market

The Advantages of Indonesian Giant Ginger

Indonesian Giant Ginger is characterized by its larger size
compared to other ginger varieties.

It brings a distinctive aroma and flavor, providing a warm

and spicy touch that stimulates the appetite.

Containing a variety of essential nutrients such as

gingerol, antioxidants, and natural anti-inflammatory
compounds, it supports the digestive system, enhances
the immune system, and reduces the risk of inflammation.

High-quality ginger can only thrive in tropical climates,

aligning with Indonesia's climate, which makes
Indonesian ginger stand out in the global market.

FRESHWATER

MUD CRAB
Mangrove crab (Scylla spp.), also known as mud crab
OUR PRODUCT

with main HS Code 030616, is a type of crab that inhabits

coastal areas and mangrove forests in various tropical and
subtropical regions worldwide. They can thrive in both
brackish and freshwater environments near the coast.

Cultivating mangrove crabs in freshwater provides an

alternative for diversifying freshwater aquaculture
production in Indonesia. The demand for mangrove crabs
remains high in both domestic and international markets.
Through freshwater aquaculture, Indonesia can meet a
portion of this demand sustainably.

The techniques for cultivating mangrove crabs in

freshwater have evolved, with some farmers using tailored
freshwater ponds or enclosures for crab requirements.
Selecting suitable varieties for freshwater cultivation and
proper management are essential for successful cultivation.
Freshwater cultivation can reduce dependency on brackish
water, which can be challenging to control and manage.

In 2022, Indonesia was able to export more than 8,000 tons

of mangrove crabs to destination countries, establishing
itself as a major supplier in the international market.
Additionally, the unique flavor of mangrove crabs contributes
to their appeal and makes them a standout commodity in
international trade.

ROBUSTA &
ARABICA
COFFEE BEANS
OUR PRODUCT

Indonesian Coffee Beans are the black gems of the

archipelago, known for their rich flavor, enticing aroma, and
superior quality. Coffee beans are categorized as:

Arabica (HS Code 090111): Arabica Coffee Beans (Coffea

arabica) grow at higher altitudes compared to other
coffee varieties, imparting unique characteristics to the
resulting coffee beans. The hallmark of Arabica Coffee
Beans is their blend of flavors ranging from fresh fruits to
chocolate, flowers, nuts, and even light spices.
Furthermore, most Arabica coffee beans have a more
pronounced acidity compared to other coffee types.

Robusta (HS Code 090112): Robusta coffee plants (Coffea

canephora) grow more easily and tolerate various
environmental conditions, making them a popular choice
in some coffee-producing regions. The distinctive feature
of these coffee beans is their strong, bold, and full-bodied
flavor. With a more bitter and nutty taste, sometimes
accompanied by hints of chocolate or spices, they provide
a bold and robust cup of coffee. One significant advantage
of Robusta beans is their high caffeine content compared
to other coffee types.

The Export Potential of Indonesia
OUR PRODUCT

Coffee production in Indonesia tends to be more stable

throughout the year because the country has several coffee-
producing regions that can be harvested at various times.
Roughly, the annual production of Arabica and Robusta
coffee in Indonesia can range as follows:

Arabica Coffee: Arabica coffee production in Indonesia

generally occurs at different periods throughout the year,
depending on the region. Some areas like Aceh, West
Java, and Papua typically have different harvesting
seasons. The total production of Arabica coffee in
Indonesia can reach tens to hundreds of thousands of tons
per year.

Robusta Coffee: Indonesia is one of the world's major

producers of Robusta coffee beans. Robusta coffee
production tends to be more consistent throughout the
year compared to Arabica. Coffee-producing regions like
Lampung, South Sumatra, and parts of Java have
significant production. The total production of Robusta
coffee in Indonesia can also reach tens to hundreds of
thousands of tons per year.
