B. Supplementary Feeding (30%)
Availability of the following:
- School feeding plan/SBFP Menu Plan
- Crop Plan/Gantt Chart of target vegetables for production intended for feeding
- Planting Calendar
- At least 10 varieties:
a. sources of protein (legumes such as beans, mongo, peas, etc.)
b. sources of calorie/energy (root crops such as gabi, camote, cassava, etc.)
c. sources of Vitamin A and iron (leafy green vegetables such as malunggay,
saluyot, alugbati, kangkong, sili, kulitis, pechay, etc.)
d. indigenous fruits and vegetables
- Records/data on the target SBFP beneficiaries and progress monitoring report
C. Nutrition Education (20%)
Conduct of the following:
- Integration of nutritional dimension of food production and related messages in
appropriate subject areas in elementary and secondary school
- Advocacy campaign about the increase vegetable production and consumption
pursued through media like print, broadcast, TV and social media
- Awareness campaign through poster-making, slogan writing and cooking contests;
celebration of Nutrition Month
