I. PROJECT TITLE
Gulayan sa Paaralan Program
III. RATIONALE
The Gulayan sa Paaralan of Jose C. Pastor Memorial Elementary School give and
sustain the nutrition of malnourished students. It also improves the students’ skills in
the field of agriculture. It is viewed as one of practical and empirical ways of
teaching and engaging the students in activities- like land preparation, sowing of small
seeds in a seed box/bed and planting direct seeds in garden plots, maintenance, pest
control and harvesting. To have a successful implementation of this program it
prescribes the participation and involvement of students, parents, and other members
of the community.
V. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This program shall give and sustain the nutrition of malnourished pupils and to
improve their skills in the field of agriculture. Mobilization and organizing
implementation will be done by informing parents, teachers, and stakeholders about
the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program. Each class shall work with HRPTA for the
realization of the cited objectives.

B. JCPMES pupils - The implementation of Gulayan sa Paaralan projects the pupils can
have a hands-on activity in vegetable production and start learning and gaining skills
in vegetable gardening.
The harvested vegetable will sustain the nutrition of malnourished students
Encourage and motivate pupils in vegetable gardening and help them to
realize the importance of vegetable production.
C. Teachers - This facility will also aid and provide ease to the teachers in tteaching
agricultural crop production students
D. Parents - Adopt the good practices of the students and teachers in planting vegetables
to bring the practices at home or their community.
The materials needed for the implementation of the Gulayan sa Paaralan are the
construction materials needed in perimeter fence, bamboo split and post for trellis for vine
vegetables, rice hull, seeds, organic fertilizers, and garden tools.
The fund source will come from previous profit of Gulayan sa Paaralan 2022 and
donation of JCPMES faculty and non-teaching staff and other stakeholders.
