Barangay Canapnapan
WHEREAS, under Section 391 of the Republic Act 7160 otherwise known as
the Local Government Code of 1991 where the Sangguniang Barangay has the power
and duties to act revenue ordinance and regulate the use of facilities constructed with
government funds and charge reasonable fees for the use thereof;
WHEREAS, the covered court serves as a training ground, especially for the
youths in enhancing their talent in the field of sports and talents and a venue where
residents and non-residents gather together for social, cultural, educational and
religious activities;
WHEREAS, the covered court needs maintenance for its continuous public
operation and use;

2. All rental fees will be paid to the Barangay Treasurer and at the same time,
receipt and permit of usage will be issued which will be given to the Officer-
on-Duty.
4. For residents who want to rent the covered court exclusively for private
occasions, P75.00 per hour will be collected and shall have full access
including the usage of sound system.
5. For residents and non-residents who will be using their own sound system
or rent high powered sound system, additional P500.00 will be collected that
is for the entire duration of the event.
6. For residents who want to play sports during nighttime specially using
electricity, P50.00 per hour will be collected.
7. For any form of activities during class hours is strictly prohibited. The
covered court shall be allowed of use at 6:30 PM until 9:30 PM.
8. FREE access to the covered court for the residents of Barangay Canapnapan
at all times during emergency and calamities.
9. Usage of the covered court every Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm
is FREE to all youths for Sports Activities.
All laws, decrees, orders, rules and regulations, other issuances, or parts
thereof inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed or modified
accordingly.
This barangay ordinance shall take effect immediately after the conduct of the
public hearing.

This ordinance with penal sanctions shall be posted at prominent places in the
barangay hall and in covered court/evacuation center for a minimum period of three
(3) consecutive weeks.
