KARMA YOGA

The word "Karma" comes from the Sanskrit word "Kri," which means to do. Karma refers to all our
actions, and it also means the effects of those actions. In metaphysics, it can signify the effects
that result from our past actions. However, in Karma-Yoga, we focus on Karma simply as work.
According to Eastern philosophy, the ultimate goal for humans is knowledge, not pleasure .
Pleasure and pain shapes the person’s character
In summary, the text suggests that the pursuit of knowledge, rather than pleasure, is the
true goal. Both joy and suffering play vital roles in shaping an individual's character,
