Checks during bridge and gangway crossings

1. Ensure personnel wear floatation devices/work vests.

2. Verify correct PPE usage.
3. Inspect both ends of the gangway for security and tripping hazards.
4. Confirm proper gangway height relative to the vessel's staircase.
5. Ensure personnel moved their name card to the "on installation board."
6. Perform a "Tug Test" on the gangway's swing rope (if available) to check its
condition.
7. Control the transfer and maintain unobstructed access.
