In a WET Setting, sexual harassment can create a toxic environment,

affecting both individuals and the organization. Picture a scenario where a

victim experience sexual harassment and uttered this kind of statement
“Senior kasi siya Sir” “Nahihiya kasi ako Sir na baka pag usapan kami kaya
pinili ko nalang na manahimik” “Di kasi kami makakapag leave sir pag hindi
namin ginawa yung gusto nya” “Sexual Harassment na pala yun Sir hindi ko
po kasi alam” that’s the common words or phrases that I always heard when I
was assigned at OESPA-PN and investigating sexual harassment cases.

In the corridors of workplaces, educational institutions, and even our homes, a

haunting silence persists—a silence that conceals the painful reality of sexual
harassment. Sexual harassment is not merely an isolated incident; it's a
systemic problem that seeps into the very fabric of our society. It's time we
acknowledge the depth of this issue and confront it with the urgency it
demands.

The heart of our mission is to break the silence that shields perpetrators and
perpetuates the cycle of harassment. By fostering an environment where
victims feel empowered to speak up without fear of retribution, we dismantle
the foundation upon which harassment thrives.

To truly address sexual harassment, we must advocate for cultural shifts and
educational reforms. By dismantling harmful norms, promoting consent
education, and challenging the ingrained power structures, we pave the way
for a society that prioritizes respect and equality. In the fight against sexual
harassment, the importance of support networks and allyship cannot be
overstated. We must stand united, offering empathy, understanding, and a
commitment to collectively create a world where no one has to endure
harassment in silence. Our ultimate goal is to empower every voice, providing
survivors with the strength to come forward, be heard, and seek justice. As we
unite in this cause, let us remember that the power to eradicate sexual
harassment lies in our collective will to break the silence.

In conclusion, "Silent No More" is more than a slogan; it is a rallying cry for

change. It is a will to confront the shadows of silence that allow sexual
harassment to continue. Let us work together to shatter the silence and usher
in an era when everyone can have a safe, lawful, and harmonious work
environment that is free from any form of harassment.
