WHY DOES MY VOICE MATTER?

“When the whole word is silent, even one voice becomes

powerful” – Malala Yousafzai.
The most vital weapon we have is our voice. Our voice is
the most important source of sense, the strongest sense of the
body. Each and every voice matters, so don’t let your voice fall
into the darkness for somebody else’s opinion. Our voice is the
medium through which we communicate, demand and share our
opinions into the world. Our voice is what transports us into the
future. Our point of view is what we use for proving what is
right and protesting for a change.
Being a powerful speaker is not easy. Drawing attention of
the people and making them listen to you is what matters the
most.
THE IMPORTANT THINGS WE CAN USE TO MAKE OUR
SPEECH POWERFUL AND STRONG ARE:
 Honesty
 Authenticity
 Integrity
 Love
We have to be true and honest to our listeners. We have to be
legitimate and keep our speech lively. The voice of the speaker
should have more impact on the society. We need to
communicate to be heard by everyone. We need to stand by our
words, do what we say, be the person whom people can trust and
finally wishing them well.
In our day to day life, people are struggling to overcome
their barriers mainly because they are hesitant to raise their
voice. They speak in suppression, hide their thought and behave
too emotionally. Finding our voice in the fast-paced internet can
be challenging
Stepping into unfamiliar spaces and learning the importance of
our voice and opinions should be advocated. We live in the
world of deepest fear and we feel that we are inadequate and less
powerful. To make our voice powerful, we should overcome the
fear of speaking on the matters that we care about, as we have
something important to say to the world and we should have a
strong desire, hope, brave, belief, that the world needs to hear –
“OUR VOICE MATTERS.”
Our voice breaks the contradictions and shows the
mainstream pathway to the listeners. It opens liberal thoughts
and enhances the social co-operation. Many people share similar
experiences but each one have unique and different
interpretations when they share their voice. No two voice is
same, each has something different to say; however, a single
unique voice can spark up a conversation, challenge the society
and even change the world.
Voice, which belongs to you one and only and no one can
snatch it from you. It belong to you in a powerful manner,
saying strong, staying strong, encouraging other to unite and
support one another. Using our voice to share our insights not
only helps us to learn from one another, but also can lead us into
a deeper understanding of the world around us.

Our voice stay as the medium of communication, though it

be a loud laughter or a profound sadness, it matters a lot.
Furthermore, it serves as the integral tool for the social bonding
by building bridges and navigating the differences. We have to
exercise our voice in such a way it collaborates for others unity
in diversity. Our history holds a record of such unique voices, be
it for a national movement, activism, political awareness, or
campaigns, the voice of even a laymen placed an irreplaceable
role in transforming the society.
Many brave hearts have already raised their voice for a
much better cause which has brought a change into the world.
One such example to recall:
 In Pakistan where education was prohibited for girls, a
young optimistic voice spoke up and protested for her
rights to education. She was shot three times in the head by
a gunman from the Pakistani Taliban for her protest. She
was awarded the Noble Peace Prize. She then brought
education for girls in Pakistan. That courageous voice
belongs to our one and only Malala Yousafzai.

History always repeats, we the VOICE HOLDERS need to

rend our voice for the good cause to create the good deeds. As of
now, wherever we go, whatever we see, whatever we get,
whoever we meet, we should keep in our mind that “OUR
VOICE MATTERS”
To conclude, humans are privileged with extraordinary
abilities to express their thoughts, feelings, ideas through their
voice. So, our voice matters through which we express ourselves
with one another, connect with others and strive to make a
magnificent world around us. Let us embrace our voice, speak
the authenticity, and develop the world as in making our own
unique mark on the ever evolving world around us.
