ESSAY PRESENTING PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

INTRODUCTION

- Start with a general idea about the topic written in an impersonal way
and then continue with an argument related to it which should point
out that the subject debated is problematic.
- Useful vocabulary:

 Has negative/detrimental effects on

In general, the rise of air and water pollution has led to the disappearance of
species from a wide range of habitats. Scientists advocate that this drastic
increase might lead to severe consequences on the lives of various species
located even in remote areas.

CONTENT

- 2 paragraphs introduced by linking words

- The first paragraph focuses on the problematic situation and the
effects it creates. There should be around 3-4 arguments from which it
results that what is presented has negative effects.
- When presenting the problems, you should use specific vocabulary

CONCLUSION

- It is introduced by a LINKING WORD (To sum up, as a conclusion, taking

everything into consideration, in the end)
- Contains your personal opinion introduced by a personal opinion
structure
- It also contains your prediction for the future in the likelihood that the
measures presented will be implemented.

To sum up, it is my firm belief that despite the drastic effects of air and
water pollution, the conservationist programmes implemented will
definitely have a positive effect on the increase of endangered species
population and will lead to the improvement of their natural habitats.
