DESIGN ASSUMPTIONS

The available space for solar installation is considered without any obstruction and
1 shading which might significantly alter the overall performance and cost of the
system.
Unless there is a significant change in the design of the system, the AC/DC Cable costs
2 will be covered in this offer. In case of a drastic change in wiring lengths, all extra cost
will be discussed and justified with the client and adjusted accordingly.
Azimuth angle is at a bearing of 180 Degrees. Solar modules are South Facing and
3 placed as such for optimum performance during first-half.
4 Tilt angle of modules is according to the chamfered roof available.

Inverters will be installed as mentioned in the PQ. In-case of any changes, the
5 deviations will be discussed and justified with the customer and adjusted accordingly.
Existing LV/LT Panels will be used to interconnect/terminate the Solar PV System at the
6 premises. However, if the existing LT/LV Panels are not suitable for safe installation of
the system, a separate LT/LV Panel(s) will be required.
7 The system is purely on-grid type and the output will be dispatched as Priority Load.

8 All grounding and protection equipment on both DC & AC Side are NEC Compliant.

Suitable access to the site is to be provided by the client, in-case of any requirements
for Crane/Scaffolding, the costs will be charged in the offer. For any extra requirement
9 arising later, the deviations will be discussed and justified with the client and costs will
be adjusted accordingly.
Site Survey and Site Hazards Identification will be carried out accordingly by FOBROS’s
technical team and all the requisite costs have been included. For any extra

OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE (O&M)

The solar photovoltaic system will perform best when there are simple and periodic maintenance tasks
carried out to ensure safe, efficient and reliable operation.

SOLAR MODULES
To increase the average output, solar panels should be cleaned at least once a day if environment is dusty.
Following considerations must be followed when cleaning the solar panels:

 Solar panel should be cleaned at dawn or at dusk, to ensure optimum operation of the solar panel during
daytime hours and accurate energy generation metering.
 Moist cloth or a sponge with rod should be used to clean solar panels evenly.
 Gloves should be worn while cleaning to avoid any cuts from sharp edges of solar panel frames or
structural steel.
 Do not splash water on solar panels, as water spots maybe stay on surface of glass and reduce solar
panel efficiency. Be sure to evenly clean the surface.
 Do not use commercial or industrial grade cleaning agents. If required, use a mild soapy mixture to
clean hardened spots or superficial debris.
 Viper with enhancement rod should be used to clean panels if installed at heights that are not readily
accessible.
 Keep yourself at a reasonable distance from the safety railings while cleaning to avoid any dizziness
felt, if installed at heights.

INVERTER AND BOS (BALANCE OF SYSTEM) COMPONENTS

There is little to no maintenance required for these components on part of the system owner as FOBROS
NOC personnel are constantly monitoring them for performance and safety. However, it should be noted
that no tampering, modifications, or unauthorized changes to the system hardware, software and/or
installation is permitted without prior consent and communication to FOBROS technicians.

 Dual Direction Energy Meter Purchasing and installation.

Customer’s Scope:
 Sanction load change (if required).
 Conversion from single Phase meter to 3 phase Meter (if required).


Relocation of System Client will be charged for relocation of system from one site to another, as per actual.

WARRANTY TERMS

 Warranty of PV modules: 12 Years performance warranty, 25 years linear power output warranty.
 Warranty of Inverter: 5 years warranty
 Warranty will be void if damaged by customer's carelessness or fault.
 Inverter warranty will be approved after fault test report.
 Damage occurred due to grid will not be claimed in inverter warranty.
