Texture

Texture is considered as a surface quality of a drawing perceived through

visualisation. It helps to describe the things in contest of smooth, rough, silky, fuzzy,
shiny etc. when we want to create two dimensional or three dimensional diagram
textures plays an important role in order to convey the message of art work done.
This art has used both the simulated texture at the top to draw the walls(it draws
nuance of a surface as exactly) and the invented texture at the bottom to draw the
windows, the effective part of the image was the half moon at left and the total white
designer background at the right with smooth shading, actually it is not a single
building, it consist of two which is separated with trees drawn with scribbling lines,
in between the window cross lines has been used to highlight the image. Dark and
light shading has been used to separate the apartments.

Line Weight

Line weight can also be termed as line weight, which means the heaviness or the
darkness of line against the background. So it’s a relative weight of lines, how dark
or the light it appears on the surface. It really does add importance or the dimensions
to the elements we draw. The amount of pressure which we put on the tip of tools
matters a lot, if we put less pressure we get light lines as we increase the amount of
pressure we will get dark lines. Even we can alter the weight by the angle we hold
the drawing tool.

It’s a most finest art to depict the line weight as, as it is made up of vertical, horizontal as
well as the curved lines, at the top of tomb and bottom we get to see the darker lines, middle
smooth horizontal line were used for pillars, the dark and light shade has created immense
effect with dark scribbles for the back ground. Measuring tools has played important role in
these images by giving finest touch to the pillars and the window at the background.

Tonal Study

sketches one of the most important things to decipher is where the darkest and lightest
areas will be, because light under one circumstances may seem darker in another if it's
surrounded by even lighter tones. To create a beautiful picture it important to have tonal
contrast, The two extreme tones or values are black which is very dark and white which
is very light. Colour which we use decides the range of the tone the lighter colour like
yellow creates small tones where as dark colour like black/blue creates larger tones.

In this image we can clearly identify the black and white tone, and the most effective
part of the sketch is the shadow on left down part, which conveys the relative position
information that shadow is mainly because of sunlight, texture scribbles have been
used for the tree. Heavy dark part helps to identify the inside part of the architecture
through the window and open galorry.2D view is drawn with the help of shades at
the top of tomb. Graphite pencils are the main element needed for this image.

3
Colour

Colour can be used to create a certain message, mood or response through particular
art work. A bright colour creates a perceived value of happiness where as
darker colours can create disconsolate value. For example red can reflect the anger
emotion where as white create an emotion of peace. Temperature, intensity and value
are the 3 main qualities of colour here we need to combine these 3 to create a depth
in work.

Fishing village sketch typical an Italian architecture, is mainly made up of oil paint,
the most effective part of the sketch is Mediterranean sunshine which even brightens
up the look of colourful houses drawn and the yatches make it more eye catching.
Below pieces of image gives in detail how the image is drawn to get a fine finish, the
combination of colours blue and black, green and black, yellow and red are the
dominant colours. Used flat brush with squared end, round brush, Filbert and brush
with shorter bristles. Tremendous difference has been created with the help of
