- The definition of love given is already the perfect
kind of love: love that is selfless and all giving.
- An ideal standard to strive for in a relationship.

In scientific perspective
Love is a powerful drive that excites the brain
and sets a neurological condition, such that
neurotransmitters release different chemicals
in the body. Such neurotransmitters elicit are
dopamine, norepinephrine (adrenaline),
serotonin, and oxytocin.

Philosophicalfoundations
Philosophers of ancient Greece had pondered on
love. Their thoughts led them into thinking about
love in different ways.
- “Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting
two bodies.” – Aristotle
- “At the touch of love, everyone becomes a poet”

Four kinds of love according to philosophy
Eros - sexual or passionate love, and is the type
most akin to our modern construct of romantic love
Philia – brotherly love that characterizes friendship
Storge – love for family and close companions
Agape – divine and unconditional love of God for
man

- Caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV) –
leading cause of cervical cancer
- Soft skin growths that occur on the genitals

body like mouth, tongue or throat if the

Pharyngeal gonorrhea
- Very common infectious disease that can be
transmitted through sexual activity or can
be spread prenatally from the mother to the

- It contaminates the cervix, uterus, and

- Chronic,recurring, often painful and highly
contagious disease which affects the
immune system or a newborn infant if the
mother is infected at the time of childbirth.
- Sores typically look as blisters on or around
the area of genitals, rectum or mouth.

- The virus that causes acquired
immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is
acquired by bodily fluids such as the blood
and semen through sharing intravenous
needles or sexual contact.
- It attacks the immune system that will put
the person at risk in acquiring fatal diseases.

- HIV stands for human immunodeficiency
virus, which is the virus that causes HIV
infection. The abbreviation “HIV”can refer to
the virus or to HIVinfection.
- AIDSis the most advanced stage of HIV
