This shawl is knitted in blocks. Direction of the knitting is changed


with each new color. Stitches are set aside between each section and
then knitted.

What will you need?

Material: Shawl 1: pink/green Shawl 2: Jeans


Lille by Meine fabelhafte Welt (100% Merino wool, Como by Lamana
100% Merino wool, LL 120m/25g
LL 120m/50g)
Color 1 - 75g natural (00)
Color 1 – 150g light pink (0119)
Color 2 – 75g light blue (54)
Color 2 - 150g light olive melange (0297) Color 3 – 50g jean blue (41)
Color 3 - 150g dark green (0098)
Round needles 4 (about 800 mm)
Round needles 4,5 (about 800 mm) Needle cord see Shawl 1
2 Needle cords or waste yarn for stitches which were
set aside (about 800 mm)

The complete yarn package can be ordered directly from MfW.

A knitting needle system with interchangeable needle tips and cords would be
practical here to make it easier to set the stitches aside.

Instructions:

1. Block – Beginning triangle The starting triangle will be

5. RS: bind off loosely

7. Block - Edge on top

Finally knit a rolled edge on the long side to create a nice finish.
To do this, knit st out of the edge sts with Color 1, then knit sts that were set aside in the middle and knit sts out of
the remaining edge sts. (1st row)

Finishing:
Weave in all ends carefully.
Wash the shawl and block it gently.
