Abiding love is mysterious and glorious! The Brontë sisters’ writings give us, the reader, the ability to delve into deep
and meaningful lasting love. Their stories open the reader to what it means to love deeply, to abide, to continue, to
remain, to survive, to last, to persist and stay, and to keep those that you love close and never lose faith in the
possibility to nd that kind of love. There is no pretense in their stories of longed for love. Like a warm and cozy
blanket, so too will this shawl evoke and elicit the feeling of being wrapped in deep and abiding love.

NOTES

• The 4-color sample shown used approximately 800 yards (732 m) total, and approximately 200
yards (183 m) were used per color in the 4-color version.
• The 2-color version used all of both skeins (700 yards/640 m total), so gauge is very important for
this version.
• Stitches are slipped purlwise, unless otherwise noted.
• The shawl can be worked with as many or as few colors as you desire.
