Narrative Report
November 24, 2022, Thursday, 30 minutes before the dismissal time, the
first Parent-Teacher Conference was held. Prior to the given schedule,
announcement was already done through private group chat of the parents to
ensure 100% attendance.
The conference started with a prayer, led by yours truly, class adviser of
section Oman, asking for guidance and wisdom on what to be discussed.
Attendance sheet was already prepared for smooth flow of the meeting as parents
starts to arrive. The meeting was attended by 32/39 parents.
Prepared agenda from the start up to the end were discussed. Each number
from the agenda were discussed from point to point for clarifications and all
concerns were heard and were able to answer their queries.

Truly, this conference is an effective collaboration of teachers and

parents for the benefit of the learners.

In adherence to DepEd Order No. 34, s.2022 – School Calendar of
Activities for the school year 2022-2023 Parent-Teacher Conference was dated
on November 12, 2022, that will also serve as the Distribution of Report Cards.
In relationship to DepEd Order No. 54, series of 2009 also states that “all PTA
activities within the school premises or which involve the school, its personnel or
students shall be with prior consultation and approval of the School Head”, thus
SLES 1st Parents Teacher Conference / Distribution of Report Cards was slated
last November 24, 2022, 30 minutes before the dismissal time for the afternoon
session and 30 minutes before the beginning of classes for the morning shift.
The intention of this conference is to apprise the parents of the
progress and performance of their children and to ensure parental involvement in
school activities.
