Nowadays, companies tend to adopt a policy enforcing employees to wear a specific uniform in the

office. Decisions like this can manifest themselves with both negative and positive aspects.

Firstly, wearing a uniform may increase the level of group cohesion among employees. It can prevent
circumstances such as individuals viewing each other as superior based on their position or vice versa. In
addition to making lower-level workers feel on the same level as higher-level workers, wearing the same
clothing can create a sense of teamwork among workers, ultimately impacting their focus on a given
task.

However, having such a particular rule also possesses drawbacks. In a time when free thought thrives,
people do not want to be subject to such an authoritarian law, especially if it goes against their personal
taste. For this reason, forcing people to wear certain clothes can lead individuals to leave their jobs. Not
only is taste a factor, but this kind of practice may also negatively affect individuals who prefer to be
unique, work alone, and be independent.

In conclusion, workplace clothing rules have both negative and positive sides. However, we need to take
into account every employee's opinion when implementing rules associated with personal taste and
individual choices.
